Holiday accommodation opening up

Just had an email from our holiday cottage owners in the New Forest to say they will be open from 10 July, hurray ?. We are booked for a week later. We have been given strict instructions and asked not to arrive until 5.00 pm and leave a week later by 9.00 am to give them time for a deep clean. That’s all fine by us. We are hoping by then that a few of the cafes and restaurants will be open. At least we know the Fish and Chip shop is open In Lymington so we will sit down by the Quay having our supper.

Excellent news, NanKate, hope the weather is kind and that you have the best time ever!
The couple of extra hours either end of your stay should give cleaning staff the necessary time to do a deep clean.
Lots of the coastal places are doing take away everything to suit every budget ... burgers, scallops, lobster, cream teas, prosecco.
