Hello all,

Some may remember when I had an"attachment"on the upper side of my bottom, (if that makes sense) that I'm pretty sure was a skin tag.

Well, I now seem to have one in my mouth, in my palate, just behind my top teeth. confused

The only similarity between them is that they are (or were, in the case of the other one, which dropped off) absolutely impossible to get a good look at!

The mouth one is really quite irritating, because of course I can't resist poking it with my tongue to see if it's still there.

It is.

you need a small oblong mirror to enable you to put in your mouth standing before a bigger mirror which will let you see what it is .
another tip below
it is a good idea to keep a mirror to look underneath your feet for any problems if you can't get foot up to look

Is it a blood blister?

Push it gently with a clean finger.
(Or not so gently.)

A dental mirror, a second mirror. and a bright light or torch. Or perhaps could you angle your phone. I've just done it and it works.

lemsip that sounds complicated! Can still manage to look at my feet, though often wish I couldnt!

Callistemon don't think it's a blood blister, as it's sort of waggleable" probably not a word, but it's now in my lexicon!

Have tried giving it a severe going over with the electric toothbrush, but it's still there.

If I'm going to get these skin tags cropping up, just wonder where the next one might be?

The tip of my nose could be interesting, might look like a flesh coloured dewdrop.

annep1 you've just made my brain ache! confusedAnyway, don't happen to have a dental mirror.

I have a small bump on the side of my nose called a fibrous papule. I really hate it. I dab foundation on it with a tiny paintbrush! I'd like to have it removed but not until after the lockdown. I'm prone to lumps and bumps. Do you have any others or just this one in your mouth? Could you have burnt your mouth on hot food or something?

No, JuneRose it's just sort of "appeared", well, emerged?

Don't try to remove it yourself, phoenix. You should ask your dentist to take a look at it.

What anno said!!

The selfie did make my mouth ache Phoenix grin but please be careful with the toothbrush. Agree with anno. Get dentist to check.

I agree with anno and kitty and the sooner the better. I also would be unable to keep my tongue away from it hence you should see a dentist asap.

Have you eaten anything crisp or sharp recently - it could just be a little tear on the roof of your mouth which I get sometimes or on my gum. Hopefully that will heal up but if not then ask the dentist if you need to have it looked at.
