I don't like a dressing gown or fleecy pyjamas as I get too hot. I put the nightdress on as it's light but will keep me warm. X

You could be quirky and put the nightie on first and then the silk top and shorts on over that.

You could re-invent the baby doll nightdress with matching knickers. Light but warm and covers the bottom - exactly what you need.
