Scotland has matched the English loosening of lockdown. Phew. I doubt anyone would have stuck to it anyway.
Rufus2 I had the David Niven copy of the Oldie a few weeks ago. It's Peter Sellers and pink panther on the new one. I've only seen the ads for it though.
Far too hot here today. I'm hiding inside binge watching the 'Sopranos'. Not sure why!

I think it was to be expected sadly, once people began to socialise more, that this awful virus would return. Scotland is taking things very cautiously and hopefully more sensibly than Johnson etc in England. Its a very hot and humid day in Polmont today but further south is even hotter. I'm looking forward to seeing some epic lightning. I love a good storm. I expect your storms are amazing Rufus2? I've had a doorstep chat with my very elderly mum this morning and then I babysat my grandson to let my daughter catch up with work. I'm just home and sitting in a cool living room with a long drink. A garden visit to friends tomorrow beckons. Have a lovely day xx

Here we go again! Unfortunately we've just had one more death (80 year old gentleman) and 20 new cases of Corvid and panic buying has resumed! sad
At least our major supermarkets have acted already by rationing items; the usual things; toilet rolls, flour, pasta etc. to 2 items.
Victoria has put a hold on proposed relaxations, so hoping barber is still clipping away!
Jane June edition of "The Oldie" No 388 arrived today; David Niven on front cover.
My word! You've moved around a fair bit on the Speaker's circuit! It pays well I believe. What brought you to OZ?
I'll talk to anyone too, although whether they'll listen is up to them!

UK News indicates that English pubs are having restrictions eased soon, but Wales, Ireland and Scotland, not so!
Seems just like OZ with its strict border controls.
