Good morning Mick and all his followers. Your plans for Harrogate are making us think of a socially distanced, self catering trip, perhaps to France. Channel Tunnel etc. We shall see!
We had a last minute invite to join DS, DiL, DGC and DSGC at a nearby river for a picnic. It is very shallow and slow moving so the canoes were out. It was lovely to see them having fun although the three dogs were a bit lively. We had the grandog who slipped her harness and escaped - mad panic as she raced off. Fortunately she came back to play with the other dogs and was recaptured. Can you imagine telling your DD you have lost her dog?
I sneaked a quick illicit cuddle with DGD - she was cold, wet and sandy and needed a bit of TLC so she came onto my lap for a bit. So lovely.
Plans for today? Cleaning and ironing in front of the TV.
I hope the poorlies are feeling better and the day is kind to everyone.
What time do you get up and go to bed?
for your daughter Sentia
. Should extract some dust, may not. Our lunch yesterday was relaxing and enjoyable, much care taken, staff delighted to see us. Fingers crossed for a positive visit to the vet for Hattie, maw. Suggest you both join marydoll on a sofa this morning. Be gentle with yourselves everyone and be careful out there.
