Good evening Rufus2 . Chairs have a nasty habit of trying to escape out of the door. I hope you are alright though and none the worse for your fall. Poor Victoria. It sounds so bad just now. Just finished a day of babysitting and I'm having a rest before I tidy the mayhem left by my little Wolverine. Then gammon, broccoli and dauphinoise potatoes for dinner. More babysitting tomorrow. Take care x

Glad you have recovered from your argument with a chair Rufus. They can be cantankerous blighters.

Sorry about Man City. Arsenal beat Liverpool too. Have to keep an eye on that team next season.

Using Word again! After yesterday’s excitement I’m sure GN messages would vanish without trace! Anyway, composure has been regained, but as if technology problems weren’t enough we were devastated to hear that both M/c City and United exited the FA Cup in favour of London sad
.Our No2 Son who lives “just round the corner” and is a United tragic, gave me a verbal serve when delivering groceries on Friday about getting my phone fixed, being on my own. I assured him it was all in hand, but not fast enough for him, apparently. although he has not volunteered to fix it! I’d already bought a new one on-line, the only way these days He doesn’t know of my statue-toppling performance and he won’t because he’ll only increase the pressure for me to move into a “safer” environment of a retirement village, but they figure in Covid hot-spot stats. hmm
.

And VIC “case” numbers are back up!, 373 after a drop below 300 yesterday. It’s like riding a switch-back and we’ll need much more time to elapse before seeing consist downward trends.

Another example that loonies are not dying out. Two men and a woman i.e not “stupid teenagers”, crossed the closed SA/VIC border on the pretext that one of them needed urgent medical attention at an Adelaide hospital. When they were “no-shows”, a search soon found them and were escorted back to the border, without their vehicle, but with hefty fines and told to make their own way home. You wouldn’t read about it!
As of Wednesday, masks will be compulsory; full stop! Except indoors of course! Perhaps that will be Stage 5.
This was inevitable when press reports said that over a million masks had been ordered and now sewing machines are humming all over the place. Good news for job creation and now panic buying of masks is in full swing. No idea if they will be single use to be effective. If they are, it will have cost a fortune by the time all this is over. Made in China, no doubt!

We still have foxes despite the ever-increasing housing developments and with the associated increase in number of families favouring chicken coops, I guess that’s inevitable.

Anyway, time to rest my weary bones;
Good Health and thanks again for your Good Wishes
