Thankyou Rufus, whilst I enjoy reading your post and a few others I sometimes find the whinging and trying to ‘outdo ‘ each other a bit trying .Like I mentioned once, whilst I don’t always agree with some opinions but I do agree with the right to express them. However that doesn’t always apply as you know.
Take care and no more climbing on chairs,and stay in and keep away from that there bug. From today false masks are mandatory here and this subject alone has nearly set light to GN!! Not to mention how some people’s circumstances (health, shielding, etc) are better,right and more important, than others.

I thought afterwards that you might have gone away on holiday to the sea-side, like Sarfend ; even a postcard saying "Glad you're not here", would be re-assuring. That's the kind I used to send, anyway, just to let them know I'd arrived!
Would you have to wear a mask, even when you go in for a dip?
Notice that your glasses are down from 4 to 2 ; that's what "lurking" does for you!; keep up with the cheering instead!
