Morning Mick, morning All from a bright corner of Somerset. Sunshine forecast for us today, hooray. Not idea what we’ll do. Not a lot I suspect as shed sorting and garden tidying were accomplished yesterday. Mr C’s comment about his shed was ‘oh ye of little faith’. That told me! An unexpected flying visit from Littlest and his minders finished the day happily for us. Take care everyone, special thoughts for those with health or other worries.

Good Morning from a dry Severnside. I think we’ll have another sunny day. If so I’ll potter in the garden and read my new gardening magazine with a bank holiday G&T.

My daughter and I visited a garden yesterday with plenty of water features and had coffee and cake to finish our trip.

She made me laugh as she said that she walked into a cobweb as she entered her bedroom here and I said ‘It must be a new one as I’ve been in and out of your room today’ she replied with ‘I’m taller than you mum’. Oh dear time to get the duster out?

Enjoy you Sunday everyone whatever you do ??

Morning from a grey damp E Kent. Isn’t it chilly? And us still in August (just)!
Mick, I think you’re right about the TDF commentary. DH Dā’īs something to the effect that the pictures went from motorbike to a plane to a centre to a satellite, then back to the ground (somewhere, I assume home nations) For commentary back up to a satellite and finally earthbound for broadcasting. All in 8 seconds... Isn’t technology amazing?
Quiet day yesterday. To my utter astonishment, I received a mail from the Indian fabric people to say I would receive it on Thursday, barely a week after ordering.
Today, virtual church, roast lamb and all the trimmings for dinner. DS1’s school canteen provides mostly chicken, goat or mutton, never ever beef, pork or fish, so I try to give Him those if I can. DH is very fond of lamb soi try to keep him happy too.
Hope you have good days, thinking of all those with flooding.
Take care, be safe ♥️

Morning Mick from a still dark Spain- shan’t get up til it’s a lot lighter, can’t ?‍♀️ in the dark!

Another quiet day for us where I’ll change the bedding and have a bit of a tidy up - a proper clean sounds too strenuous for a Sunday!

A peaceful day for all ?

Good Morning Everyone,
Its grey but its dry outside here at the moment in Brackley .
Yesterday , the dealer I normally see did not show again at the flea market .
With things as o bus services returning to some normality on some services , with schools starting up as well.
The coming week will be interesting not only with trips out, but also watching the Tour De France unfold as no day is the same on that race or other cycle stage races .
So small shop later , TV ,and Lunch then settle down to watch the racing on Eurosport , I get the impression due to coronavirus the British commentary is coming from a studio in London and not on the race due to the quarantine rules effecting commentary team members when the event is over.
Take Care ,
Mick
