Hunting was banned in 2004. Not to be confused with shooting which is a different field sport.

I'm not sure the birds consider either sport much fun.

agreed, but what is much worse, is the systematic destruction of birds of prey in those areas.

What is far worse is migrating birds being blasted out of the sky before they can cross Europe.

I am a vegetarian so unsurprisingly I don’t agree with hunting, shooting or fishing.
However I don’t have strong views on either William and Kate or Harry and Meghan as people since I don’t know either couple personally and they don’t impact on my life in any way.

I give up. All I know is I think it’s a horrible way to have fun.

I'm wondering if a happy life ending with a quick shot is preferable to a miserable life kept indoors, overcrowded and pecked at by other birds the slaughtered at a few weeks of age.

As I do eat meat and fish I need to think about this.
Although I don't eat intensively reared meat, or try not to, I know that so many people do.
