What has made you smile today?

The incessant rain we have had recently made the waterfall in the country park even more lovely this morning.

I have cleared the front open plan front garden area out side my flat.
Wasnt planned for today, it just kind of happened.
Havent done what I had planned though

Actually, and this is rare, work made me smile today.
2 of the most engaging, funny and charming young men I've ever supported today.

They never fail to make my day in one way or another.

My plum jam has set!

I smiled at a text from my son with the good news that I had been waiting for.

I bought a frying pan that was supposed to be twenty pounds and went through the till at fifteen! Priced up wrongly apparently!

The two bras I ordered arrived today and, miracle of miracles, they both fit and are COMFORTABLE! Unheard of before and definitely made me smile.

The flowers are from the garden and the cat was just sitting in the middle of the lounge floor. It is ours!!

Yet another long walk round and round yet another park with DD1 and the littlest DGS smiling away in his pram, and sitting up in it for the first time. He’s growing up so fast!

It wasn’t raining either, hallelujah!

The look on Mr. S.'s face this morning when he came back from the vets and was going to be charged £132 for a tray of dog food and medication for 2 dogs for flea, tick and worm treatment.

He came back with the food and left the medication behind. All sorted, just have to renew our healthy pet plan with the vets we've recently transferred too. They're 'phoning tomorrow and when I've got it set up, I'll re order the tablets.

Nothing so far---phone's been off most of the week, lost the broadband before, family news doesn't get any better and I'm peed-off with this Covid.

Re-establishing contact with a long lost friend.

I saw a dozen or so of these on the beach today and thought they were very funny/weird. I smiled even more when I got home, looked them up online and so how much they were worth!

Going to meet grandson from school it's the only way we can see the with lockdown restrictions

For me it was a four mile walk with a coffee stop. Good conversation with fellow walkers. All socially distanced, of course and five in the group.

My hairdresser is coming today can’t wait!

This morning, lying in bed I decided it was Friday, no sooner had I got up when I went into Saturday routine!! Yikes is this the beginning?

Looking at blue skies and a beautiful tree I can see from my seat in the living room. It signals the change in seasons and is mostly a glorious red.
