Was just wondering... When you decide you want to treat yourself... What do you do or buy for yourself

Make sure every one is cared for .Then sit in my little garden , weather permitting. Then have a bath with lavender and geranium oils

A new diffuser cheers me up no end and a bag of chocolate gingers from Thornton’s ?

JaneRn Fri 16-Oct-20 11:53:20

Chocolates, a box of cream cakes from M&S and a bottle of good wine as opposed to my usual plonk, not all to be consumed at the same time, of course!

Just discovered wax melts. Least everyone in the house benefits from my new obsession.?

Anything garden related. New greenhouse gadget, plants, seeds, pots........

Fabric and patterns - not a treat a necessity - honest. I know I have a stash, but .....

A single fruit scone from local M&S foodhall. Sold as singles and that’s perfect for me. If I bought a pack of 4 I would feel obliged to do the decent thing and eat them all and avoid food wastage.

Chocolate. I don’t treat myself very often though. Once upon a time, in pre Covid times, I used to indulge in a latte and a home made cake in a nice, quiet coffee shop. Can’t quite seem to be able to pluck up the courage to do that any more these days.

I pay for a good film to rent on Amazon Prime for Friday evening viewing. Often there are some very recent films on offer for £2.50.

Foxglove77 Fri 16-Oct-20 10:23:23

Chocolate biscuits or chocolate liqueurs yum smile

Saggi Fri 16-Oct-20 10:21:44

Books or new boots. Can’t resist either . Food was/is never a treat.... and is only fuel for the body. I eat less and less these days. Nope... gotta be books or boots!

Buy very little stuff. A real treat for me is a massage by someone with real talent, or a special evening of relaxation by the fire, with a friend and Tibetan bowls and other instruments.

Open a bottle of wine and watch a movie from my collection of recordings.

At this season it's Stollen bites from Lidl or M&S.
