My first user name was too noticeable when googled. Bluebell because I love bluebells and when I moved into my new house, I had a lovely surprise of some popping up under a hedge. Would, because google thinks it’s a misspelling of wood, anything to cause confusion. Also what would I do (raised eyebrows)?

mumofmadboys Mon 19-Oct-20 14:28:25

I have 5 boys and they are rather a mad bunch!!

Vickysponge Mon 19-Oct-20 14:27:03

I love baking!

Luckylegs Mon 19-Oct-20 14:26:15

I was known for my thin legs at school and laughed at. They’d say “is that cotton hanging from your skirt? Oh, no, it’s your legs”!! And luckylegs, lucky they don’t snap! Charming, weren’t they? Anyway, now they’re a lot better, still slim but a bit more shape.

Teetime Mon 19-Oct-20 14:23:53

That's interesting, maydonoz. Mine is just something I kept hearing myself saying to the younger members of the family!

Hi all
I sometimes ponder over the meaning of posters' usernames and thought it might be an interesting topic for a thread.
My own "maydonoz" is the Turkish word for parsley, to reflect my many years living in Turkey, previously and also enjoy cooking so use many herbs, including parsley.
Some of you may wish to share your username meaning too.
