Further to the tortoise discussion we are beginning to think that our politicians are forming a “Tortoise Party”, judging by the number of tricky back-flips they’re having to perform!
The latest has been the Racing Minister! Saturday sees the running of a first-class horse race meeting, second only to the Melbourne Cup next month and the Minister gave the thumbs-up for 500 owners, trainers etc to attend on the course .with all the champagne and finger-food

Prior to that they were at Fowey harbour (pronounced “Foy”; I can speak the language as well as any Cornishman!) Yet another bout of nostalgia!
By the way BlueSky; excuse the smell of mothballs, but I dropped them, bent down to sweep them up and trod on them, so I think we’ll be moth-free for a while!
