One record: torn between Rogers and Hardy; perhaps Hardy by a short head. I review the list every few years. At one time my book was the works of Thomas Malory, but it occurred to me that when I was rescued my spoken language might be hard to understand after a diet of him, the Authorised Version and the Bard.
The reasons for choices could be interesting.

Oh, and if I could only take one record it would have to be the Mozart Requiem, I think. That’s odd, because if you asked me my favourite composer it would not be Mozart, but I think the Requiem would stand repeated listening very well.
