Here we are again. As happy as we can be (in the circumstances). All good pals and jolly good company.

Cheers! cupcake wine brew cafe and whatever else that you fancy, providing it's legal. smile

Thanks MacS. That’s our soop, looking forward to a G&T tomorrow. If she’s well enough for coming home I’m sure you will oblige. Wishing you both a much more restful night tonight and please send my love when you speak to her. ?

So glad dear soop is comfortable. She has had more than her fair share of discomfort. Roll on G&T time!

cornergran Thu 26-Nov-20 19:59:44

flowers

Mr Soop here, aka MacSporran, with a message from Soop in her own little room in Oban. Wednesday afternoon and evening, preparation was horrendous as it entailed lots of liquids for the purpose of clearing out the bowel. [Those of you who have experienced that can tell the others about it!]. Thursday morning, Today, after a night of no sleep, the main event started just after 9.00am and S was back in bed and gently recovering in early afternoon. At 6.30pm she was happy and comfortable watching TV and looking forward to a G&T tomorrow, HOPEFULLY. We now wait for the surgeon to do her rounds and give us more information. An update will be posted some time Friday for all you Grans. Take care, Love from Mr Soop/MacS.

Very good Galen ??

Galen Thu 26-Nov-20 17:34:50

Wedgies boiled fruit cake placed in the kitchen for any — greedy— hungry grans.
Just thought yesterday, would Max Bygraves have said of Boris ‘ tiers for souvenirs are all he left me?”

Lins1066 Thu 26-Nov-20 17:11:24

Another one here just popping in to see if there is any news of soop.

dragonfly46 Thu 26-Nov-20 16:36:28

Just popped in to see if there is any news of soop. I do hope Puzzler is right.

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Nov-20 16:29:39

Susan56. Thank you, I don’t usually venture there.

cornergran Thu 26-Nov-20 16:18:22

Also checking for news of soop, I’m sure puzzler is right.

Has anyone seen charley about lately? She seems quiet. Probably just missed her posts. Flipping virus is making me anxious about everyone,

Decent day today, sorted a faulty new purchase with very helpful customer care staff. Had an enjoyable walk around an NT property grounds in fabulous sunshine, made all the better by some chips from their takeaway. Much less happy with our covid tier but nowt I can do about that only stay cheerful if I can. Notice the ‘if I can’! Struggling with that just now.

Take care everyone, be good.

Feelingmyage, Panache posted on the lockdown thread yesterday I think or maybe the day before.

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Nov-20 14:39:25

Spell check has taken over

Feelingmyage55 Thu 26-Nov-20 14:38:41

Popped in to hear how the beautiful soop is doing and hoping that she is being lookad after as she deserves, like royalty.
I’m about to spend half an hour in the garden to get some fresh air, popping in a few more spring bulbs, than a coffee and some online shopping for stocking fillers.
synonymous I’m so glad to hear how well your DH is progressing and that you finally have the “amenities” that are so badly needed.
Has anyone heard how the Panaches are doing. They are worryingly quiet.
I baked this morning and have left shortbread triangle and melting moments on the side.
Whisking that we all keep on keeping on as best we can.

Susan56 Thu 26-Nov-20 09:18:54

Just popping in to see if there is any news of soop.Am hoping you are right Puzzler and she is on the road to recovery??

Puzzler61 Thu 26-Nov-20 08:26:04

Morning kitcheners. Just popping in to see if there’s an update on soop ‘s condition. Hopefully she has already been served a light breakfast and is resting on gently plumped pillows courtesy of a kindly nurse. Fingers tightly crossed it all went to plan yesterday.
Wishing everyone else a good day ahead.
It’s started with a white frost in my garden so it will be time to grab a thermal vest from the airing cupboard for my first layer of clothing. Bbrrrr. ❄️
Take care all.

cornergran Wed 25-Nov-20 22:36:38

Been lurking to see if we’d hear anything about soop. Guess too soon.

It’s been a funny old day here, nothing went to plan, just life throwing custard pies.

TOYA , sleep well.

Synonymous glad things are going well. A little backup is alway useful. It sounds as though Smokie might be going on a diet grin
Just popped in to see if there was any news of soop yet.
Hope things went ok.
Hope everyone else ok. TOYA ?
