? BladeAnnie and condolences.
DS phoned this morning to ask if we were doing anything ...
Since we were doing the school run tomorrow, would we like them overnight, too avoid such an early start? OK I said. In that case could we have them from lunchtime??
We have had a lovely time, filled the green bin and played new games! We shall be ready for bed early though!
TOYA

I will definitely raise a glass to your little sister Suzanne BladeAnnie my condolences flowers

Charleygirl5 Sun 22-Nov-20 17:38:45

BladeAnnie so sorry, that is very sad.

soop I am delighted to hear that Fern does not run away now when she sees you. She is intelligent and has worked out that food arrives when she sees you.

Tara and I could come and I have sufficient food for both cats for a while so MacS need not worry.

To pay for my keep I could be your personal carer when you return.

I hope you are feeling better because surgery will not be performed unless you are free from d and/or v for 48 hours prior to admission.

That cat does not realise at present just how lucky she is having chosen the pair of you to look after her.

soop Sun 22-Nov-20 17:08:44

lemongrove Why not send a private message to merlotgran. She can put your mind at rest. I was confused about Maybe and then it occured to me that you meant Mawbe. That is most certainly our very own Maw.

Little Fern is a very canny feline. She sits so close to the door that we can hold a conversation with her through the wee window. She no longer sprints away to the other side of the fence when I take her food outside. She now waits just a few feet away until I return to the kitchen. She has the most beautiful face. Dare I say that we are fond of her? hmm

Ironing up to date. I'm now relishing the tennis final at six o'clock. First things first. Wishing you all a good evening. Special thoughts for all our lovely kitcheners with sadness or sickness to bear.

Until tomorrow smile moon

BladeAnnie Suzanne was there for your birthday. She will always be with you in spirit. I shall most certainly raise a glass in her memory. flowers

Terribly sad for your dear Sister, ?BladeAnnie and for your loss. ?

annsixty Sun 22-Nov-20 16:32:51

flowers for you and all your family BladeAnnie

BladeAnnie Sun 22-Nov-20 16:26:46

I'm just popping in to let you all know the sad news that my "little" sister lost her short battle with ovarian cancer this morning. She passed away very peacefully. So let's all have a drink for her tonight moonwine RIP Suzanne

Puzzler61 Sun 22-Nov-20 16:13:28

Keep upbeat soop, you’re in the final strait now! Please don’t spring clean on Tuesday - save your strength. 1) Dust settles again very quickly especially when the heating is on,
and 2) It isn’t Spring ?
Sorry your favourite player was beaten yesterday but it is good that seeds 3 and 4 are coming through now and giving us “new blood”. (I don’t mind who wins).

soop Sun 22-Nov-20 13:55:58

lemongrove I also cannot help you with you query. Sorry.

Stomach settled during the evening. I am thankful. Must remain well enough for hospital stay. Even on the morning before we depart on 60 mile journey to hospital, I need to phone to be certain that I have a bed. Once I'm in it, no one will shift me out of it until surgery completed. That's a promise. wink

Rafa lost his match. He's my favourite. However, at six o'clock we shall watch the final. I am backing Thiem.

Fern has a bed donated by a pal in the village. Her cat didn't want it. Fern has her own fleece inside and was asleep when MacSporran opened the back door to feed the birds. She has had a good breakfast and a delicious lunch. Is now on a wander through the copse. She is far more active than Rory was once he moved in with us.

Andrew, eldest son, has been on the phone for almost half an hour. He makes me laugh out loud. He should be a comedian. Any way, I'm well cheered.

Away to do more ironing. We've agreed to spring clean the house on Tuesday, which means there is no urgency to polish and wash floors today. grin

Puzzler61 Sun 22-Nov-20 13:03:27

? for you annsixty, and hello to others who pop into the kitchen today. I hope all can find something to make them content today. ?

annsixty Sun 22-Nov-20 12:06:16

I hope you have recovered from yesterday’s ills soop and will be fit for your COVID test tomorrow.

It was two years yesterday since my H went into the care home.
The days before were most definitely the worst days of my life.

I am dwelling on it now, not a happy place to be.

Have the best day you can everyone and a special good wish to absent regulars.

Grandmabatty Sun 22-Nov-20 11:54:57

A busy morning for me! A tesco delivery at half past eight and then I realised I hadn't ordered milk so I walked to aldi, picked up milk, chocolate for dd's Christmas stocking, came home and baked chocolate buns, scones and peanut butter cookies. My day is done.

soop Sun 22-Nov-20 11:49:54

Galen Ohhhh! I do feel so sorry for that Gary

soop Sun 22-Nov-20 11:48:24

Logging on and guess what? The internet connection is doing a wobbly again. I am peed off with it. Will hope to return a little letter to find things have settled down.

Doodle Sat 21-Nov-20 23:46:42

In that case Galen I’ll have a large piece please ?
