Hello Jolly Kitcheners
What a sweet little chap, BladeAnnie. Cats do love a box, don't they. They're like toddlers. Ours will wait to take over the empty Am*!^£ boxes and if they can hide in the garage, they'll keep themselves entertained for hours bashing lumps out of the cardboard. There used to be a lovely old cat who belonged to an ironmongers in Brighton. On the counter, an empty tissue box (not very big, of course), and squashed into it for a good part of the day and keeping an eye on the takings, he was quite happy.
I'm concerned that you are spending too much time at the window, like a poor lonely old soul, soop, waiting to catch sight of your new love. I never dared ask you how you knew if Robbie was a little chap or a chapess. Seems the jury's out on that one. I shall guess that he's a Robbie. Bound to be wrong, of course. Long may he visit and be happy with you.
We've had the most wonderful weather here today and I have to admit that after a busy day yesterday, I have done very little. Well, hurrah for me. I do not care. The focus is staying well and staying in good spirits, so that is going to take up quite a lot of time hereabouts for now.
Hope your little H is fully recovered now, Susan. Was that a view of small Barnaby manoeuvring into Cupcake's garden quarters? Kids and animals do give one hours of entertainment, don't they. (As well as a need of a lie down in a darkened room sometimes!) I am off to investigate cat igloos - just in case.
Have a lovely evening everyone, feet up, little glass of something, relax. Warm wishes to all from you know where.
