Where have they all gone?

When I first read this thread, my thoughts went to Pompa but there was no way I could remember his name so thank you.
He was a regular poster who just occasionally went a bit too far but no harm was done.
Frank was another one, no idea how his posts came across, his London pension was very important to him.

I'm so sorry to hear that Ana has died. She had a wonderful sense of humour.

I know she was very upset when jingl was banned and sent me a PM saying she didn't want to remain on Gransnet. I really missed her.

I e asked this before but when I joined there was someone who tended to post late at night very angrily, possibly “with a drink taken”. Can’t remember name.

The Jingls Affair was all very mysterious, merlot.

Petra I recognise a couple of those names but hadnt made the connection. Yes I remember she was doing some kind of audit but didn’t realise she’d been banned. Odd type.

I forget under which name she was banned but she inadvertently let slip that she made copies of posters remarks that she didn't like.

Unfortunately that's not unique! One recent poster confirmed that they take screen shots of posts they don't like!

SirChenjin is another one I've not seen post in a long time. GN seems a bit like Facebook in as much as you see a poster being active for some time and then suddenly you realise there has not been any posts from them for quite a while.

jings lost the plot every now and again but I think she was honest and very straightforward. I miss her.

Interesting thread, remembering the names certainly does bring back incidents!
I wonder if Ruby——— (Song/Girl, I cant quite remember) ever got married.
She seemed to lead a colourful life, with her difficult son and was last on here showing her engagement ring from her younger fiancé.

As I am a relatively new poster, I don't think I recognise any of the names, but it does read like a microcosm of society or a school class. I guess there will always be those who make their mark one way or another.
I did know of grandad and I admired his tenacity, I hope he is ok.
That was a sad story about the lady who went climbing in Switzerland. It made me sad to think anyone on here might die as has been shown to be true. I hadn't really thought like that before.

I would also like an update on Rubylady.
I had her phone number at one time but after being accused of stalking her I disposed of it.

annsixty I remember how very kind you were to Rubylady, she was a very troubled soul at that time, possibly mental issues and a difficult son, think I have the right lady, if it is then to be accused of stalking you is very sad for you, I felt you went above and beyond, think that’s the expression.
