I have just heard the very sad news, Sean Connery has died.

BlueBelle Sat 31-Oct-20 14:15:57

No thank you Kalu I don’t wish to start another thread on Sean Connery just highlighting the fact that he is a domestic abuser I believe his first wife left because ‘he beat her’ although I think his second marriage seemed to last but if you you tube Sean Connery s interview about slapping women you will hear it for yourself ...I m certainly not making it up no axe to grind against a 90 year old top actor apart from that
Always good to know both sides of the story isn’t it
Thank you Galaxy but not an opinion it’s factual

Galaxy Sat 31-Oct-20 14:08:13

Bluebelle is absolutely entitled to her view.

BlueBelle Sat 31-Oct-20 14:07:49

Exactly chardy he openly says that he believes it’s perfectly ok to “slap” a woman if they are annoying him There’s a YouTube of the interview anyone can watch the words come out of his mouth
I cannot admire that kind of man even if he’s a top rate actor and amazed that everyone things it’s ok and he’s wonderman

I first heard him say that when I was working with abused women need I say more

Today we are saddened by the death of a screen idol BlueBell.

Perhaps you would like to start a thread on his imperfections as we are not discussing ‘the person’ as such.

Chardy Sat 31-Oct-20 14:03:50

Bluebelle Diane Cilento's autobiography also highlighted his problem, as well as his own admission

rafichagran Sat 31-Oct-20 13:53:35

To me he was always James Bond, no one bettered him in my opinion.

BlueBelle Sat 31-Oct-20 13:51:26

I m glad you all liked a man who clearly advocated giving a woman ‘a slap’ if they warranted it !!!!
