Well, fellow Argy Bargers, after some hard bargaining with
Moneybags Mike our landlord, I have managed to secure another short term lease. The scoundrel wanted ten pounds a month, but I showed him my maroon bloomers and he reduced it to seven pounds.Result!?

Stuffed Olive? She is standing at the bar squeezing her size 20 into a size 12 minidress.

Lisagran Wed 27-Jan-21 16:19:54

Did someone call for TaraMasalata ? That’s my stage name at Desperate Dan’s. I’ll be along on Friday to stuff a few olives.....

Lisagran Wed 27-Jan-21 16:17:14

I could be a buxom barmaid. Lisagran could play herself, brazen hussy. ?

I heard that, Doodle. And you’re quite right, I am. I didn’t get where I am today by being backwards in coming forwards (as the Bishop said to the actress)

AGAA4 Wed 27-Jan-21 16:07:28

I remember Tara Masalata. She likes to think she is a tasty dish but is a bit of a tart. She works in Desperate Dan's on the Dock Road.

I’ve sent the doves back with a new order of ambrosia, if they get it wrong this time it’ll be dove stew on the lunch menu tomorrow

LauraNorder Wed 27-Jan-21 12:45:23

Doodle I like dips too but even the Mediterranean is chilly in January.
I ordered Ambrosia for you ixion but they sent creamed rice pudding, I’ll get the trainee Urms to add it to her famous SOAP dish.

ixion Wed 27-Jan-21 09:54:36

Laura please can we have ambrosia too? (No, not the rice pud?).
Excellent, apparently, for longevity and immortality- or is this just an urban Greek myth?

Doodle Tue 26-Jan-21 22:41:24

Laura please can we have Taramasalata. I love dips. And Olives . Watch out for Zorba though. I had some of his dance lessons before ?
Gnasher sat on a rat and squashed it so perhaps you could use it in the mouseakka or make rat a touie.

lemongrove Tue 26-Jan-21 21:07:45

Are you soaking your feet in with the Feta Laura ....
Because there’s a distinct whiff of Radox in here.
All things Greek a go-go then for Friday including songs and jokes ( how much does a Greek earn?)?
Greek dancing, smashing plates on the floor ( I’ll get some cheap chipped ones from down the market) and plates of
Moussaka ( or mouse somethings) with lashings of ouzo.
AGA get your brewing pinny on!

LauraNorder Tue 26-Jan-21 19:25:45

I am drinking ouzo and soaking my feta as we speak.
I am working on a mousesaka recipe.
Help yourselves to navel fluff stuffed olives for now.

AGAA4 Tue 26-Jan-21 17:18:01

Zorba said he will give private lessons for us. He didn't mention what he will be teaching wink

AGAA4 Tue 26-Jan-21 16:25:15

Zorba the Greek has promised to come and show us some Greek dancing. He has plenty to show us.
He will bring the ouzo.

Will it be feta this week Laura?

ixion Tue 26-Jan-21 13:56:34

Greek nite please. I could still wax lyrical (or anything else that needs waxing).

Hopefully the Guard boys will have more stamina for you, lemon than their Swiss counterparts.
(Is it the outfits that 'do' it for you?)

lemongrove Tue 26-Jan-21 13:43:06

Laura has left bar snacks for us today ( prods around in them) .....no idea what they are, but quite tasty.Am manning the bar myself as Vlad says he needs to go out for ‘a lite bite’,
I did offer him the snacks but he shuddered and said no thanks. If I need to pop to the loo, just help yourselves.

lemongrove Tue 26-Jan-21 13:38:52

Choose one, Greek Nite/ Shakespeare Nite/Plants and Zombies Nite.

Doodle Mon 25-Jan-21 19:49:04

Yup, me too. What are we doing Friday lemon?
Are we having Shakespeare nite aka ixion’s poetic turn.
I could be a buxom barmaid. Lisagran could play herself, brazen hussy. ?

Urmstongran Mon 25-Jan-21 14:17:32

What’s the plan for Friday? I’m in (whatever it is!).
??

ixion Mon 25-Jan-21 14:12:36

Still is, mate, still is.

Speaking with in tongues as practising for Friday

lemongrove Mon 25-Jan-21 14:07:10

Nope, it was Tattoo Terence who pierced mine ear?
What brings on this burst of poetic babbling ixion .....was
Gorgeous George really that good?

ixion Mon 25-Jan-21 13:49:51

Wilt thou be gone, lemongrove? It is not yet near day.
It was the nightingale, and not the lark,
That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear

lemongrove Mon 25-Jan-21 13:43:59

We want a full debriefing?later ixion ( after the briefs are off) no hurry.

It’s taking us longer to recover these days after the Friday Night Specials☹️
As you know, Ernst the Swiss Guard took me for a fish supper
Down by the docks, then we got cosy under a dinghy.
However the trouble with Ernst is that he went straight to sleep, no stamina those boys.I left him there and went home, but just as I reached Gasworks Alley, I saw Steamy Stan under a lamp post, and we spent a pleasant night on a pile of freshly washed and pressed shirts back at the laundry.?

ixion Fri 22-Jan-21 22:58:01

Sorry - WE? can't stop.
Unbridled passion awaits.
Thank you to everyone for a fun evening, and for my bestest prize (swoon)

Urmstongran Fri 22-Jan-21 22:51:14

This place is an absolute tip. I’m heading out before I get caught up in any cleaning duties. There’s still a fair few laughing and drinking over there so one of them lot can lock up.

Now, where’s me other clog ...

LauraNorder Fri 22-Jan-21 22:49:09

Off now to wander with Wandering Hans, thanks for a good night all ?

lemongrove Fri 22-Jan-21 22:47:52

I’m on a promise ( Ernst, one of the Swiss Guards) so we are off while we can still stagger, last one out locks up! Hic...
