They came in 1st and 2nd and paid a fortune!
If you’d been watching you’d have wept; the sun was shining all day 30C, and the famous roses looked magnificent. The fillies didn’t look too bad either in their summer outfits clutching their wines. Not sure where they were, because the course was empty of spectators.
Btw; does Guinness go well with chish and fips? Not if it’s green, I imagine. 
We are still on track for virtual eradication of Covid and we’d lile to think it’s our reward for prompt implementation of lockdown/curfew. controls and limitation on crossing State borders.
The next big problem is getting the economy up on its feet again by encouraging people to go out and spend.
Not much else on the agenda! Feeling courageous today and put up sun- umbrella on the patio! Hope that’s not tempting the devil!
