No, I'd have it done if I didn't have a low immunity to infection.
In fact, I might risk it one day

Yes I vaguely remembered that !

...including a comment from you, Lucca smile

That's the trouble with forum posts, every now and again I come across one of my own now-forgotten posts and I think Why did I say that? grin

There was a thread on this subject a couple of months ago. The lady who posted had had the procedure. I seem to remember she looked pretty good. I’m a bit wary of cosmetic surgery. I was very impressed !

Thank you for the encouraging replies !

As long as you’re prepared for some bruising for a short while after its well worth doing.

I had an eyelid lift which to my surprise my optician referred me to our local hospital. I was delighted with the result and after 4 years they still look as good.

If your unhappy with your eyelids look into it. My friend had hers done early this year. They look good ?
she's had several procedures and I can never wait to go and see it.

I had it done when I was about 60. I didn’t know the nhs did this so paid for it privately. Its still ok and I have no regrets.

My ex husband has had this procedure done twice on the NHS, once when he was in his late 40s, and again a few weeks ago at the age of 67. On both occasions his upper eyelid had dropped down to a point where it was partly obscuring his field of vision. The result was good at first, but slowly dropped further over the years hence the second procedure was needed.

Well I’m rather anti cosmetic procedures, Botox etc but recently my eyelids have become so droopy I find myself considering a blepharoplasty. Am I mad ? Is it just lockdown lunacy ?
