I’m going for Idris Elba advertising for TV Christmas programs on Sky this year : especially for the twelve films of Christmas
Every bloody break and I can’t keep going out to kitchen to make a cup of tea!?

Definitely Naga Munchetty, thankfully she is mostly teamed with Charlie Stayt who knows exactly how to cope with her. Jimmy Carr’s laugh is extremely annoying too.

Don’t watch much TV but get really irritated by these ‘academic’ programmes with dolled-up young women presenters marching around simpering at the camera. I’m sure they are highly respected in their fields, but why go along with the ‘clever totty’ image, so demeaning!

I've gone off Philip Schofield, can't stand Keith Lemon after his response to the outrage of him giving a puppy away as a prize, detest Danny Dyer and loath Katie Price. Most reality stars I wouldn't give houseroom either. There are very few who have "made it" with real talent although I do love that lovely, well-spoken vet.

Agree with nearly all the people mentioned on here, so am now officially a grumpy old women, haven’t seen Nish

I used to really like Idris Elba Lucretzia but as Eazybee has posted fed up with him prancing about like Bambi trying to sing the twelve days of Christmas, just want to stick a piece of holly up him where it hurts most!?

Alex Jones along with the theme music of The One Show both give me the rage as I leave the room .

We watch This Morning for the free competition! We had to laugh as from 1st December they have put up an advent calendar. They open a door each day with a 'treat' for us inside. The treats are films of themselves on past shows grin

Well hes best chums with Holly and isnt her husband a producer or something else in itv? Tbh I didnt mind him for years but there seems to be an arrogance to him. I dont often watch This Morning when they are on,but if i have I sometimes feel they are being quite rude about people or dismissive, not in a major way but enough . Maybe they just believe their own publicity!

I think Schofield made such a big drama about announcing he was gay that he alienated a lot of people. As someone else said self pity seems to be his default system.

Kate1949

Strange how so few like Schofield and yet he gets so many shows. My DH says he must be very powerful in ITV.

Just what I was thinking!

I don't know anyone who likes him in the real world either

I think your DH is right, Kate1949

Definitely Philip Schofield.

travelsafar Sun 06-Dec-20 13:09:34

Phil and Holly, the man from Top Gear, can't think of his name at the mo, are my top dislikes.

Lona Sun 06-Dec-20 13:06:35

I totally agree with all of the above except Claudia W, I do have a soft spot for her. Plus I have a fringe grin

Sarnia Sun 06-Dec-20 13:00:47

Tess Daly and Zoe Ball. Both so puffed up with their own importance and patronising to us lesser mortals.

Oldernewgranny Sun 06-Dec-20 12:58:59

I have to add to the Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby list, way too childish. And I used to really like Gino de Campo but his ego has outgrown his likeability, I now find him very irritating.

annodomini Sun 06-Dec-20 12:57:35

Rylan Clark-Neal. I haven't been able to watch 'It Takes Two' since he became one of the presenters. I could just about bear Zoe Ball, but she was becoming far too OTT.

TerriBull Sun 06-Dec-20 12:49:59

ooops yet another typo Alima, although it might have been quite normal at the time grin

TrendyNannie6 Sun 06-Dec-20 12:19:46

Where do I start ?? Gemma Collins with her over inflated ego, Philip Scofield, Emily Atak, Holly willoughby with her shrieking, Michael McIntyre, Katie price, Russel Brand

Maggiemaybe Sun 06-Dec-20 12:03:22

I agree on sarah milican- im no prude, but she's just too crude!

We went to see her at our local theatre’s studio for about a fiver when she was just starting out. We’d seen her on one of those programmes showcasing new talent and thought she was very funny. Live on stage, she was just out to shock. She totally misread her audience and got a very half-hearted ripple of applause at the end.

Alima Sun 06-Dec-20 12:01:32

TerriBull, was the Normal Conquest of England deliberate? Ha ha ha!

mrsgreenfingers56 Sun 06-Dec-20 12:00:30

I don't know if you would really call Carol Klein a celebrity from
Gardeners World but I gave up watching it with her gushing and Kate Humble but they go totally over the top and don't come across as sincere. My other half said "What are these two on?" Just start to become irritating and annoying.

Bellasnana Sun 06-Dec-20 11:52:11

I’ve never heard of most of the people mentioned, but I do find Carol Vorderman very irritating in those ads for Sun Life.angry

DanniRae Sun 06-Dec-20 11:50:17

One more from me:
Katie Derham (she danced with Anton on "Strictly") - her sickly smile makes me so cross.

timetogo2016 Sun 06-Dec-20 11:34:26

I agree with you Gingster.
I will add Zoey Ball tothe list too.

biba70 Sun 06-Dec-20 10:57:26

Actually, should we really call 'comedians' 'celebrities' - they have very specific skills, like actors or singers.
