grammaretto so sorry yet again for your loss, what a difficult time for you!
Thank you Marydoll for sorting my link
Welsh Senedd Election - PR in action. This will be interesting!
Jersey trip, some tips please.
Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its dry and cold outside this morning here in Brackley.
Yesterday, I did get the bus to Bicester and spent an hour there with shops etc, also my cafe at the back of the bakery shop was busy so I did not bother , part of my routine gone for the day.
Latter I did an online order for some German beers , dark, and a Christmassy beer as well , plus some German style ready meals .
Today, will have a quiet day , with a small shop later , prepare lunch as well , got some steaks will do in frying pan ,and yesterday brought some Roasties which I have to do in the Oven for 1 hour ,plus with some veg will split over 2 days .
Take Care,
Mick
grammaretto so sorry yet again for your loss, what a difficult time for you!
Thank you Marydoll for sorting my link
Condolences for you, grammaretto, what a year you have had.
Take Care
Grammaretto ?, my heart goes out to you, such a very difficult time for you, your MiL and the rest of your family x
My own mother died on this date 18 years ago, know that I am thinking of you too.
Thank you for being so kind and thoughtful to let the rest of the goodmorningers know Marydoll.
Good afternoon all. We had planned a coastal walk today but there is the most awful wind and rain storm here. I’m not sure I could stay upright! So now back home enjoying tea and a bacon roll apiece. So pleased to have finished all the cards and present wrapping, a trip to the post office tomorrow morning will see it all safely on its way.
Good article Gwen.Elijah is lovely. You must be so proud of him and of your daughter for raising awareness??
Grammaretto?
Really good article Gwenisgreat and what a lovely boy Elijah is, you must be so proud of them both.
Good luck to your daughter and thanks for sorting the link Marydoll
Gwen, I have already posted the link straight to the article.
Annsixty so young and with little ones, so sad
Wonderful positive journalism Gwenisgreat1 what a cutie your GS is.
Thinking of Grammaretto and her family
Ansixty that is such sad news that poor little family
Grammeretto so sad for you
Typical, the article won't copy and paste!!! But if you want to 'google' it on the Daily Express the heading is:
The only thing he suffers from is 'Ignorance"
Mum urges views on Down Syndrome to change.
It's a lovely article with super photographs or my little mischievous GS (and DD)
I have just read that Grammaretto's Father in law died this morning, only a few weeks after her husband.
Sad, sad times for her family. ?
hollysteers, just a thought. If pressure keeps dropping so frequently, it could be a sign of a leak somewhere.
Good morning, just from a wet and grey north of Scotland, online church has just finished, having run over considerably, now that we are used to the online chat afterwards. Have the best day you can.
Good morning Mick and all from Wet Withers in Lancashire. I hope you enjoy your steak Mick, one of my favourites.
I’m on a course of antibiotics for my cystitis (certainly not honeymoon disease in my case?) and was most impressed by the quick service from the surgery. I thought I would have to take a sample etc etc but the doc phoned the chemist and it happened in a flash.
My son is here doing bits of diy which is nice and has cooked two excellent meals so have been waited on.
I am not pleased with my two year old central heating combi system as every other day it seems, the pressure drops and the heating goes off, which means a fiddle with knobs.
Stood a small tree on a table yesterday and threw things at it, so that’s my tree done?.
Have a good day everyone and thoughts to the troubled.
Good morning all from the Angus coast where - wait for it - the sun almost shone a few minutes ago! A very brief light in our darkness.
As expected with every household doing it's shopping on line, delivery of parcels is becoming, shall we say, difficult. I do feel for the over-worked delivery men, but they'd make their lives easier if they read the delivery instructions! Yesterday evening I got an email saying that my parcel, for which I have to sign and prove I''m over 18 (!), couldn't be delivered because I wasn't there. If he'd come round to the back as instructed he'd have seen that I was very much there - all lights blazing and no curtains closed! ?. Better luck today, but heaven help me if I'm in the loo or the shower!
That of course pales into insignificance beside your problem with the hacker Bellasnana. It's reassuring to know that your money will be returned, but it's still a shock. The Banks are very good the way they flag up out-of-the-norm spending activity and act immediately. Happy memories of your friend today ?
I hope your test is clear Ashcombe and your cough clears up quickly.
I'm not surprised you're feeling annoyed with your vicar Grandmattie! Very remiss of him in difficult times like these.
Your German beers and German ready meals sound good Mick and I'm sure they'll be enjoyed ?
So glad you had such a lovely reunion with your family Urms. Treasured memories in the making.
Lovely parcels Baubles.
Now I must get going and get into gear before the hoped-for parcel delivery! Have the best day possible everybody, free from pain and worries. Remember, tomorrow this will be yesterday! ???
Gwen if you copy the Whole link it will work.
However, part of the link in your post is not highlighted blue, so it doesn't work.

This should take you right to the article folks.
Try again (lost 1st try).
Good morning all from miserable Harrogate! I couldn't find yesterdays blog and was almost bereft!!

Don't know if you will be able to make head or tail or above. It was in yesterday's Daily Express (I think) about my DDs crusade to normalise Down Syndrome?
Let me know if you succeed, if not I might try and copy the whole article??
Hope all are as well as they can be.
Good morning from an overcast Norfolk.
Late start today DH birthday yesterday, ordered a take away from our favourite restaurant, was lovely, would have loved to go there but his was the next best thing. The menu was quite extensive so plenty of choice.
Bellasnanna sorry this has happened, we had something similar several years ago and they took thousands on our credit card, it turned out to be an insecure internet connection when I was ordering something. The bank sorted it immediately but it left us feeling very worried so got DS onto checking our internet.
My elderly mother has been called for her COVID jab his week at a surgery in the next village so a trip out for her for the first time in ages.
Sorting and faffing today, plus hopefully a walk by the sea.
Take care everyone.
Good morning all from a dark dank day here in Stockport.
Very sad day here, just heard a close member of my exDiL’s family died early this morning.
I didn’t know her but met her parents several times at family gatherings when my S and her were married.
She wasn’t yet 40 and has left children of 9 and twins of five.
She was given the Last Rites on Wednesday and the family have been sitting with her since then, they are beyond exhausted and devastated.
It casts a gloom, I can’t settle now.
Have the best day you can everyone.
Good morning everyone from a wet and windy Gower.
I haven't had the chance to read everyone's posts yet, I only woke up at 10am. My WP had to give me rescue medication yesterday evening to bring me out of a seizure.
I hope everyone is okay this morning, ? for all who are not, I hope that that's none of you.
Be kind to yourselves everyone and stay safe ❤️
Good morning from a wet Morecambe Bay where a large skein of noisy geese have just flown over.
I got my Christmas cards from the RSPB back in January but didn’t buy enough so will return there later today and buy another pack. I’ve written 70 cards so far. There’s a lot of crossings out in my address book but we do have a large family and a number of ex colleagues and neighbours from several previous houses. It’s nice to keep in touch and hear how they are doing but it’s a bind writing all the cards. It’s just difficult to stop. Whenever I suggest stopping some DH always argues it’s not right to stop, but he doesn’t write them. He just reminds me who to send to, which I’d daft because they are in my address book.
I’m seriously thinking of pulling out of our Christmas meet up. I’m thinking it’s not worth the risk at this stage.
Take care and stay safe everyone ?
Good morning Mick and all
It is raining here in S E Essex ☔️☔️☔️
Youngest sons birthday today, no family celebration feel quiet mizzy ? This is a week of non celebrations, one GC has a birthday midweek then DH is 70 next Sunday, like others all our plans have been cancelled.
No idea what is for dinner, will go on a treasure hunt through the freezer.
So pleased you had your reunions yesterday Urmstongran a cuddle is so restorative. Bellasnonna how worrying for you but good that your bank will recompense you.
Keep safe and well folks ?
Good morning Mick and the GM team from grey, east London.
I am still in bed as my meds have upset my stomach (a frequent occurrence).
My partner is roasting the pork for supper ... have to see whether I am able to eat any.
Wishing everyone a good day.
Bellasnana ? Ashcombe ? Bluesapphire?
