Thought I've give my (very) shallow side an airing on this wet and gloomy Sunday.

Some guys I didnt think had it when they were younger though now think they do :
Sean Bean
Keanu Reeves
Jon Bon Jovi
Matthew McConaughey
Jerome Flynn
Iain Glen

Some guys who've always had it - and still have :
Antonia Banderas
Brad Pitt
John Malcovich
Viggo Mortensen
Daniel Day Lewis
Charles Dance

A honorary couple under 50
Tom Hardy
Andy Whitfield - lead in Spartacus, so very sadly died young

Ho Lee Cow......

Think I'll soon be reverting to my 1970's past time of putting posters up in my bedroom.

Am watching His Dark Materials, it’s very well done.I hadn’t recognised Terence Stamp NanKate which character is he?
Do you think people are trying to find the small garden in North Oxford ( the gateway) ??

NanKate Tue 15-Dec-20 22:32:16

Chestnut did you see Terence Stamp in His Dark Materials on the BBC last week ? He looks a bit dog-eared now, but such a good actor.

The Doctor in Virgin River on Netflix. It’s a great series. I don’t know his name but the woman who plays his wife Kate O’Toole is Peter’s daughter. But I digress.

I like Chris Packham, but he is only about 50.

Sean Bean does it every time for me smile

Lyndylou Tue 15-Dec-20 18:14:33

Agree with Bruce Springsteen, Monty Don, Peter Barlow.
Would propose Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle) and I think that Ringo Starr looks better now than ever.
I preferred George Clooney in his ER days though.

Blossoming I am not keen on George Clooney either. Too perfect and smug.

Completely agree re Clooney

Rosieroe Tue 15-Dec-20 17:36:21

Has no one mentioned the absolutely delectable and multi -talented Hugh Jackman yet?

NotAGran55 Tue 15-Dec-20 17:28:42

Stephen Cottrell , the Arch Bishop Of York , aka Call Me Stephen or The Bish.

Eric Clapton is my ultimate though .

Alishka Tue 15-Dec-20 16:56:21

Completely tongue-in-cheek remark,Granny - horrible slimy man. Still, his third wife is much, much younger than him.
Wonder what his bank balance is like?

Grannynannywanny Tue 15-Dec-20 14:26:39

Oh no not Gregg Wallace. I’d rather have a Greggs sausage roll

Alishka Tue 15-Dec-20 12:18:21

Gr(egghead) Wallace?
winkgrin

I don't get the Sean Bean as he's older bit- Sharpe!!!!
Yes to Bill Nighy
I liked Donald Sutherland in The Undoing better than Hugh Grant.
Yanis Varoufakis definitely (is that why I like the Peace & Justice campaign?)
Ian McShane -ongoing since I was 17 and he played the devil in the York Mystery plays.

Coolgran65 Mon 14-Dec-20 14:23:29

I thought the Duke of Edinburgh was debonair when he was young, especially in uniform.
Who doesn’t like a man in uniform -
Richard Gere in An Officer And A Gentleman?

BlueSky Mon 14-Dec-20 12:38:59

NanaK I’m sure Mick will still be fanciable at 98! grin

nanaK54 Mon 14-Dec-20 12:36:31

Has to be Mick Jagger! I definitely would and he's nearly 98.

No he’s not!

98 I mean!

Poor Mick - he is 77 not 98 grin

I’ve never found the obviously good looking fanciable. When I tell DH he takes it as a compliment! So yes you can have your Clooney, Gere, Sewell etc. Now Mick Jagger....
