I’ve done that BBbevan! I just replied to DH, when he said something similar, ‘I can’t understand them mumbling!’

I asked DH to turn the sound up on the tv when we were watching a foreign film with sub titles. He said “ Is that so you can read the words easier? “. Same sort of thing.

I have just been on a regular zoom call with old friends.
I have scar tissue on the back of my throat and an irritating tickly cough especially in the damp weather.
During the call I started to cough a bit and another friend on the call sneezed.
Now, everyone on the call knows I cough, they have known me for over 20 years.

One person squealed and grabbed a mask put it on and started shouting at her husband to put one on.
He started to laugh and I am afraid so did the rest of us.

She laughed too but was soooo embarrassed.
Not nice but really lightened a very grey wet morning.
