Words fail me. What do you think about her half shaved head?

Blossoming Wed 16-Dec-20 23:31:18

I was the honey coloured bob too, I’m now the wild grey/honey streaked ringlets pinned into an updo grin

I doubt she would like the honey coloured bob or short grey hair that a lot of grans have.

I am the honey coloured bob.

Why would she?
She’s 42.

I love it - the half shaved look is very in among young people at the moment. It’s dramatic, but fun. And it’s only hair, it always grows back!

merlot that’ll teach you to ask the gardener to do it then?

The gardener laughed his head off when he saw it. hmm

SueDonim Wed 16-Dec-20 22:47:16

It looks as if her head was shaved for an operation, or that maybe she is suffering from hair loss.

A friend of mine has indeed had half her head shaved for an operation on a brain tumour. Is she supposed to hide away until it’s regrown in case people think it’s just a horrible fashion? hmm

My post was to Callistemon

merlotgran Wed 16-Dec-20 22:42:16

I wish mine had fully recovered. My left side is still longer than the right and there's still a chunk missing over my right ear.

What really makes me cross is that people think I tried to cut it myself with disastrous result. I actually paid for somebody to butcher my locks. angry

I have been sorely tempted to do a Princess Charlene ever since.

lemongrove Wed 16-Dec-20 22:36:52

I think it’s a ghastly style, what’s even remotely lovely about it? Half Yul Brynner and half Robert Peston.
Never heard of her either.?

Blossoming Wed 16-Dec-20 22:34:54

No worries Lisagran ?

merlotgran Wed 16-Dec-20 22:33:18

EllanVannin

I was beyond shocked when I first saw her pic. Whatever has possessed her ?
Unless she's got her late mother's genes because Grace suffered some sort of problems and became the black sheep of the family as her father had disagreed with the future that she was taking in the film industry.

grin grin grin grin

LauraNorder Wed 16-Dec-20 22:29:05

Her eye makeup is lovely

BlueBelle Wed 16-Dec-20 22:20:23

I really like it I wish I had a face that could take that style it’s lovely Never really come across her before not following royal family’s

JenniferEccles Wed 16-Dec-20 22:20:02

What a horrible fashion that is.
I am surprised anyone thinks it is an attractive style.

I have seen lads with a similar hair cut and that’s bad enough, but for an otherwise pretty girl to chose such an ugly style is really a shame.

It looks as if her head was shaved for an operation, or that maybe she is suffering from hair loss.

But I imagine she thinks she looks good so I guess that’s all that counts.

Callistemon Wed 16-Dec-20 22:15:14

It seems to be very fashionable.

I don't like it but I'm not likely to do that, although mine has only just recovered from a pre-lockdown haircut (I couldn't see what she was doing to the back).

ginny Wed 16-Dec-20 21:50:09

It’s her hair, she can wear it any way she likes.
My DGS had blue hair all through the summer, long on top and shaved at the sides. He also has a ring and a bar in his ear.
I doubt he’d be a different person with a diferent style any more than she is.

Hithere Wed 16-Dec-20 21:44:53

It's only hair and it looks cute

As long as she is happy with it, it's all that counts

OceanMama Wed 16-Dec-20 21:43:54

If she likes it, good for her.

paddyanne Wed 16-Dec-20 21:43:06

I think it looks great she's got a face that can take it,my almost 14 year old GD has the same style but hers is pink .

Why would anyone care what Princess Charlene does to her hair?

Why would they decide that if it was Princess Stephanie that she was having a break down

SueDonim Wed 16-Dec-20 21:32:57

Is that all? I was served in a cafe yesterday by a woman sporting exactly the same hairstyle, except she was blonde. It was very windy outside and I did think it must be a bit drafty when she went outside but I think Monaco has a more benign climate than the NE of Scotland in December. tchgrin

Elegran Wed 16-Dec-20 21:30:35

Maybe she still swims and likes the feel of theshaved head? I imagine it gives you an advantage in competitions.

It's her own head, anyway. It doesn't matter what we think of it.

Ellianne Wed 16-Dec-20 21:29:37

French newspapers don't seem to be making much of her new style other than to say she often comes out with a daring fashion statement.

Lisagran Wed 16-Dec-20 21:29:13

Sorry, Blossoming, same link smile
