Wales has just come out of a draconian lockdown but the numbers are still rising there.

I am seriously beginning to wonder if lockdowns/Tier systems work. For everyone of us observing the guidelines there must be a multitude who do not, I fear lockdown fatigue has well and truly set in amongst some, so pleased I am not having to make the decisions.

the more mingling = the more death.

We are in the NE so are staying in Tier 3. Quite honestly I was hoping Not to move down to Tier 2. We've had to change a few arrangements but I'm glad the decision to stay home and safe has been made on our behalf.

We are staying in Tier 3, but whatever tier we are in is not the issue. We want to stay safe. DH is vulnerable through age and health issues, and I am a year older, so we are being careful. Looking forward to life resuming once enough people have had the vaccination.

Yes 3 for us too, all of Herts now, up till today our little corner was still 2 so who’s been naughty. ?? We are alone for the Day but had plan of lunch on Christmas Eve with nearest of our family but think that may not happen. My son is super careful so it was a dodgy arrangement anyway. Another thing is we have only had one post delivery in the last post, wonder if our vaccination invitation is laying about somewhere, now heard of several people who’ve had their first one..

Is anybody surprised?
I’m not.

We’re in tier 3, but at least we’re prepared for what will be in January/ February.

It's awful isn't it? We've been in tier 3 since November with no sign of us coming out. We will do doorstep drop offs. Fortunately all the people we buy gifts for are within a 15 minute drive and in tier 3 also.

The whole of Herts Beds and Bucks moving into 3 as of Saturday. Just wish Christmas wasn't happening this year.
It just doesnt feel like it one bit. If you visit family or friends I for one will feel on edge. Hoping i can get away with a 'doorstep drop off' of gifts and a quick chat instead of the planned meet ups that we have. In a way I wish F&F's lived a long way away as everything would have been in the post by now, but i fear it's a bit late to do that.
