How old is your son? I have five adult sons who spend most of their free time watching films, tv and looking at their phone. I couldn’t imagine any of them doing puzzles or jigsaws.
A set of tangram pieces with a selection shapes to make (with solutions or maybe not!). You can make them out of card (any size square, join with various mid-point with ruler, see picture), and find the puzzles to make online www.tangram-channel.com
My family (who live abroad) and I have been doing a virtual escape room at weekends. It's been great fun. There are lots of them online and some for one person as well as groups.
Following on from Kitty’s thread: My son is in Switzerland, so not coming home for Christmas obviously. He is expecting to go into lockdown any moment so I thought I would find some silly things to occupy him! So far I have an air fix kit, a pack of cards and a rubric cube, any other ideas? He lives on his own.
