Why on earth isn't he closing bordersstopping flights etc? Surely if new strains are coming in from abroad then we need to keep anyone out who may be carrying it.We wanted to close our border earlier this year WM in all its wisdom said there IS no border ...maybe they need to realise there damn well is and it needs closed now.

Wales manages it, so isn't it up to your own politicians?

Peston saying that he’s heard that the new strain is spreading much more quickly amongst children. So schools remaining closed post Christmas is a high possibility.

Scrap that! I found one. My area is staying in Tier 2, although I'm not really sure why.

Last minute u turns again. My local ( big as seen on TV) teaching hospital are doing Covid vaccinations for over 80s. Very few of those invited have turned up. They are putting out a call for anyone over 80 to come along. Why don’t they give the vaccine to the frontline healthcare workers?!
