We used to celebrate DH’s mum’s birthday. She is no longer with us but a nice walk in the fresh air to blow away the Christmas excess seems the norm now.

Oh we always leave them out for a few days and find places for everything in the New Year.

Are you eating left-overs today ?

No much. Because I did a vegetarian roast yesterday as my son and d.i.l. are veggies, I am cooking a roast chicken today just for me! But there are a few left over bits from yesterday so I'll use those.

How many pets do you have?

Two. A bichon Tibetan spaniel cross and a Maine coon cat.
We also have an imaginary weasel called Eric who lives in the shed

Yes, a big chunky jumper for me and just started on a complicated prom blanket for a step great grandchild.

Did you make your own Christmas cake and pudding this year ?

Pram blanket

No. But I will make a cake next year as this year’s bought one is very disappointing.
