The analysis also finds China, where the pandemic started, had a negligible impact on cases in the UK.
Instead those initial cases came mostly from European countries.

A lot of Swiss cheese sold in UK is for export market and not well matured. Very few places sell 'the real thing' - perhaps the best being the Cheese place near Burough Market in Southwark

Oh for goodness sake there are lots of excellent cheese shops other than Borough Market, if you know where to look. And not only in London.
But you could start with La Fromagerie in Marylebone High street, Paxton Whitfield in Jermyn Street or any of the 3 branches of Neals Yard Dairy, not to mention a raft of excellent independent cheese shops throughout the country.

Just checked my fridge and our cheeses are all British (mainly Welsh) and local butter.

British cheeses are some of the best.

We should have all British in our fridge but the on line shop arrived without the Cornish brie. It was replaced by something from France. Still perfectly fine. They did the same with the English sparkling wine for NYE. The replacement was also French. On line shopping is a real pita.

Digressing slightly, but talking about British food for the UK market I was dismayed when a Welsh farmer (hoping for a deal) said 90% of his lamb went to France! I wish we could buy it instead of all the NZ stuff in the supermarket. It tastes far superior!

Just the opposite for me, I never appreciated cheese until I lived in China when it wasn’t available. Then I craved for it.

This was me in japan. I eventually found some sold in a tin at an extortionate price. From memory it was an attempt at some sort of Brie and was not improved by being in a tin. I didn’t buy it again.

I used to get my mum to send me marmite.

We buy it, usually from the farm shop if we can get there, but it is often available in our local supermarket.
The problem with online shopping is that it doesn't specify whether Welsh or NZ.

I lost half a stone on a holiday in China, despite the fact that we were eating huge amounts of Chinese food and had beer and wine included at every lunch and dinner. I realised later that it was the lack of dairy wot did it.

I did resolve to get a grip of my cheese habit after that, but just love it so much. Our best this Christmas has been a gooey Rollright layered with truffled marscapone. Pure bliss.

I will get back into my usual size after the Christmas food has gone.

We always like the cheese course before the dessert. Need to finish the meal with something sweet.

How ?.....I’m huge at the moment and the last straw was seeing a phot of self wearing padded coat on Christmas Day.I looked like my mother......
I need an easy plan for someone who is a) not a massive veg fan (but I do eat them) b) live alone so need easy shopping

Can’t decide if I should cut out sugar or carbs or just try to do smaller portions.

I don't know where they are, but it's known who some of them are. One of them is Andy Wigmore, self-confessed liar, friend of Donald Trump and Aaron Banks and Brexit backer.

He's boasting about in public and couldn't give a damn that he's put other people's lives at risk.

I'm appalled that Wigmore thinks it's a big joke and is comparing himself with the von Trapp family in the "Sound of Music".

Not only should they be fined, but if they attempt to return to the UK, they should all be locked up together in a small room with no windows for two weeks!
