Lady Stardust, me too, I've become very sarcastic to other shoppers, in the way, hovering annoyingly, when I'm trying to get my shopping and get out, and back home ?

Nope, hate every minute of the wear but I comply, of course.

Well we don’t need that face lift now or the nose job! grin

I too hate it when someone thinks is wearing the face mask under their nose is an option!! Here in Durham, we have a branch of the University of Tokyo. It seems as if most of their students wear a kind of uniform - beige Mac, opened umbrella against the sun and face masks against pollution all year round.

I don’t mind wearing one where I have to, took me some time to find one with good facial coverage, washable and a tight seal to stop glasses misting.

I like wearing mine in the supermarket, I mutter under my breath without people thinking I'm barmy. I swear at people without them knowing and I remind myself verbally what I need to buy!

I've actually been told 4 times that I look good in a mask. confused
I'm not sure whether to be pleased or offended.

I don’t mind wearing one in shops - and it has to be pretty or cute - but I can’t wait to get it off when I’m back out in the fresh air! It gets damp in under it when it’s on, and stuffy, and I always feel as if my nose is running! I do hate when I’m inside somewhere and I see anyone not wearing one or worse when someone’s big nose is hanging out ????. I know that there are people who are exempt from wearing them but I just don’t believe some of them, especially if they’re in a bunch!

My youngest daughter loves them!

No, I certainly don’t like them. Wear one indoors, shops and suchlike, but don’t walk about with one on outdoors.

Should say we live in a quiet area, and I haven’t been shopping anywhere at all busy since first lockdown, never had to use public transport, never been in a pub or restaurant for the last 9 months.

I was gasping like an old grampus by the time I came out of Morrisons last week, I was practically cross-eyed grin

I've been wearing two surgical masks together when I've needed to wear them---nearly suffocated myself but I'm determined not to breathe in more air than I have to do.

I am possibly alone in this but I am beginning to feel undressed if I venture out without mine on. It keeps me warm. You can hide inside it. (snotty nose, bad breath, etc)
You can go fancy and wear a different pretty one each day or even every time you go out.
I can't help being amused at how the hajib was constantly being mocked by our Rt wing press when really it can be seen as quite liberating. wink
I was in Japan a few years ago and there the facemasks are a fashion statement.
