Just seen a photo of a monolith that has appeared over night on the Downs in Salisbury. It is similar to the one that is on the Isle of Wight. The Walker who found it with her dogs on an early morning walk said it hadn’t been there the last time she walked in that area. The ground around it doesn’t seem to be disturbed.

Curiouser and curiouser ?

Great minds think alike. (or so I have been told)

The aliens certainly didn't make all (or possibly any) of the Wiltshire crop circles.

It is done by hand and with portable surveying instruments and why would anyone use machinery and I doubt whether footprints would show.

MOnica for crop circles how do explain there being no evidence on the ground of any footprints, tyre marks or other type of machinery?

As for crop circles. I wonder why it's always crops? Never on just wide open stretches of grassland.

Some are so complicated and show no signs of human intrusion on the ground. It really is an incredible phenomenon.

Here's a sudden monolith in NZ:

Chestnut Over 2,000 years ago the Nazca people of Peru managed far bigger alignments and carved animals over a kilometre long in the landscape with amazing precision en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazca_Lines

If they could do it, then I am pretty sure that these crop cricle alignments can be worked out today by modern people with modern day GPS and surveying equiment.

Forgot to say, re the crop circles, look how amazingly perfect the pattern is. If someone was doing this from the ground would they really be able to make all those markings so accurate? They would not be able to see the pattern as we see it from above. And how long would that take? I find it really spooky to be honest.

FarNorth Sun 03-Jan-21 23:37:06

Callistemon I see.
Clearly it was aliens, as you say. smile

Chestnut Sun 03-Jan-21 23:34:01

Re crop circles, does anyone really have the time to create a complex pattern like this? The detail of the pattern is shown in the second image.

FarNorth

Lights in your back garden??

FarNorth -
The Christmas lights in the conservatory are on a timer and for some unknown reason it mistimed, came on in the middle of the night on a flashing sequence - which we didn't set either.

I think aliens may have set it off to guide their comrades on their way to Laverstock Downs.

Too cold to be messing about in fields obviously too much time on their hands.

Riverwalk Sat 02-Jan-21 13:19:09

It's those crazy Wiltshire types - home of the crop circles!

Beechnut Sat 02-Jan-21 13:00:01

There is one in my back garden.

FarNorth Sat 02-Jan-21 12:58:18

Lights in your back garden??

Callistemon Sat 02-Jan-21 12:56:01

Or even Salisbury Plain

Callistemon Sat 02-Jan-21 12:54:16

When I woke up to go to the loo at about 2.30 am I could see lights flashing in the back garden - could it have been aliens who were en route to Salisbuty Plain?
?

Jane43 Sat 02-Jan-21 12:52:56

The comparison with crop circles has crossed my mind too.

crazyH Sat 02-Jan-21 12:46:03

Has that farmer got fed up of creating crop circles?

Blossoming Sat 02-Jan-21 12:41:12

I think it’s rather fun, a bit of light relief at the moment.

EllanVannin Sat 02-Jan-21 12:35:30

A bit like the crop circles.

lemongrove Sat 02-Jan-21 12:13:05

Artists ( and strange people)?are having a fun time seeing where they can place these now, without being seen to do it.
It’s a fad that will soon die out.

Grannynannywanny Sat 02-Jan-21 09:35:56

I think they could be transmitters. They’ll be sending messages to the chips that are being secretly planted in the population along with the covid vaccinations ?
