Hi Rufus, the Saints win was after my post and what a game! Second half was defend, defend, I was yelling at the ref to blow the whistle, pleased football can carry on, we enjoy watching it. It’s cold today, I was at the farm shop for 8, no one else shopping, as I like it, had to de ice the car first - the car with very few miles on it! Just about to go out for my daily walk, a swift 20 minutes will do in this weather, DH off to work again, so the alarm went at 6:45, a shock to the system after two weeks off. Boris is speaking to us again at 5, what now? Can’t think what there is to say, we won’t watch but catch up online later. Manchester Derby in the EFL on Thursday, interesting, it’s on Sky, so we’ll watch it.
Take care ?

Hopefully when these vaccines kick in there will not only be a drop in new cases and deaths, but also a dramatic and rapid drop. Reports now say it’s 7 days of over 50,000 daily cases; every day being a new record. sad

Jaxjacky Why the dull mood when The Saints BEAT Liverpool? You should still be on cloud 9; even your manager Ralph was reduced to tears with emotion!
And of course, they did Man. City a big favour.
One annoyance is that City could only draw 1-1 with West Brom a few weeks ago, yet every other team has beaten them 5-0 or so!

Just had to put the heating on. It’s only 10.30pm and chilly; we’re having the dull weather too and showers. Temperatures ain’t what they used to be!

Cricket bosses have partly yielded to common sense by reducing the number of spectators to about 20,000 for the 3rd Test in Sydney due to start on Thursday Good Luck to them.

Megs How did you guess a lockdown was due? It’s got to be severe, unfortunately, to achieve anything , but very hard for many people such as small businesses.
Tv News pictures show eerily deserted streets very much like we were a while ago.

I’m interested in your Granddaughter having a coffee shop in Devon. North devon?
That brings memories flooding back of when we used to visit my parents who retired to Barnstaple and we’d take them out on trips to Ilfracombe, Combe Martin, Lynmouth, etc and we always had to call into a cafe for tea and scones! Happy days!

We had our first Zoom class of Term 1 today. discussing IT stuff. Us oldies are clever sticks.! All 16 of us. I’ll be sorry in a way when our shool is re-opened and I think some of us will be rather nervous of venturing out again even if social-distancing is probably going to be with us for some time.

Won’t be long before Hot-X buns are in the supermarkets; probably there already! tchshock
