I've received a few messages asking to continue the 1000 words thread. It has obviously given many people pleasure and some positivity. For anyone who doesn't know, posters come on with their photographs of pretty much anything and we take it from there. Nature is always a good one.

I bought them in Morrisons May. I love pansies but these are new to me too. They have a lovely fragrance.

I've never seen those pansies before but then I'm not a gardener. Did you grow them yourself or are they bought in. They are lovely and they do look like cats whiskers ha ha

A cute character wanted a stroke today.

Aha! Looks like we’re back in business!

Greyduster Sat 15-May-21 12:51:15

A baby blackbird. His mum was around so he wasn’t too worried.

JackyB, I love that card!

Lisagran Sat 15-May-21 09:26:49

Yes, against my black toaster grin. I’d seen photos like this on Instagram and wanted to try it, so got a piece of black card from Hobbycraft, but the pics worked better with the toaster as background!

Ellianne Sat 15-May-21 09:20:51

Was the photo taken against the black background Lisagran? It really enhances the shape of the flowers.

One last go.

JackyB Thu 13-May-21 10:34:00

Here's a little card I got from my DGD yesterday (I have cut off the name) English is her 2nd language and my son is working really hard with her as she's quite shy about speaking it. She's not shy about anything else, mind you!

They are coming to stay in a few weeks when we have both had both jabs, DS will also have had his jabs as he's a teacher (we're getting there with the vaccinations here in Germany)

She has written "Nanna, I look forward to seeing you already! Can we go to the playground together without Mama?"

Aldom Thu 13-May-21 08:41:09
