I seem to have developed a sort of acne and am prone to pimples/boils. I think it’s an age thing though. I’m making a point of putting on moisturiser and B&B cream on my face when I go out and use lip salve with a uv filter. I used to have really nice skin, too, so it’s a bit demoralising. I’m actually eating healthier than I’ve ever eaten in my life before, so it can’t be diet related.
My poor Sister in Law has the most horrendous rash - she’s had steroid cream from her GP and trying anti-histamines now, recommended by her pharmacy. It’s exactly where her mask would be - but she has been out and about far too much - breaking all the rules! She’s worried it may be permanent but if she stays at home, I think it will clear up.
It's the inner self and how you feel generally that causes these skin eruptions. No matter how much, or wht type of face cream you use it's how you feel inside that dictates the outer appearance. Unfortunately it's akin to being run-down which isn't surprising the last 12 months we've had. Eat apples and drink water, both a tonic for your innards.
Anyone notice that their skin has deteriorated during lockdown? I have always been pleased with my skin (facial) inherited from my mother and never had to bother about it. I don’t know if it’s staying in much more or masks, but I have a big pimple on the side of my nose, skin rougher and just don’t look like me! Lockdown is turning me into an old woman!
