Hello Everyone! smile

Thank you for joining in with the last ATPBYAQ flowers

Welcome to a new Lockdown Special - ask the person below you a question!

Questions can be related to 'the current climate' or, if you are heartily sick to death of all that, can be to do with anything at all.

Q: What is your favourite thing about lockdown?

BBbevan Sat 20-Feb-21 06:16:23

A lark

Do you like wet weather ?

grandMattie Sat 20-Feb-21 06:13:26

Plus fours and a deerstalker hat.

Are you a lark or an owl?

Mollygo Fri 19-Feb-21 16:30:59

Yes if I have to, but hopefully never again.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve seen someone wearing on a lockdown walk?

henetha Fri 19-Feb-21 12:51:22

No, too cowardly...

Can you change a wheel on your car?

BBbevan Fri 19-Feb-21 12:15:46

Yes. I had them done quietly when I was about 20. My mother thought pierced ears common.

Have you any other part pierced?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Fri 19-Feb-21 11:19:46

Oil of Olay (Ulay - whatever) is great, nice and light.

Are your ears pierced?

hollysteers Fri 19-Feb-21 09:11:35

Half full, even overflowing usually, but in these strange times, nearly empty.
nanna8 answer, Italy.

Do you have a favourite face cream?

Billybob4491 Fri 19-Feb-21 08:36:49

No never Fanny I saw the damage caused by smoking to my family as a child , vowed never to smoke.

Is your glass half full or half empty?

FannyCornforth Fri 19-Feb-21 08:33:13

Yes! I stopped smoking about six or seven years ago. I can't believe that I smoked - I hated it.

Have you ever smoked?

Billybob4491 Fri 19-Feb-21 08:28:49

Popeye and Olive Oyl.

Have you managed overcome a bad habit? I have

FannyCornforth Fri 19-Feb-21 07:34:24

Nothing small, ie no phobias.
But all of the biggies: loss, grief etc.
I've got GAD, so pretty much in a constant state of fear!

Favourite cartoon or cartoon character?

nanna8 Fri 19-Feb-21 07:32:08

Men in masks with guns

Which country would you visit first after lockdown is over?

Puzzler61 Fri 19-Feb-21 07:29:19

Anna Maria island, Florida. The beach was divine and full of shells.

What scares you?

Kim19 Fri 19-Feb-21 04:43:51

Apologies for omission!

Favourite holiday ever?

Kim19 Fri 19-Feb-21 04:34:56

Gigantic Bentley when my boss took poorly and I took over. Gadzooks, I was nervous and never so glad as to get him and the beloved limo into his driveway and the capable hands of his wife. I'll stick to little and loved thanks. Phew.

Mollygo Thu 18-Feb-21 17:14:12

Not really. I keep an eye on the old folk but I’m very guilty of noticing all the people who go for walks past the end of our drive.

What’s the most exciting car you’ve driven?

MissAdventure Thu 18-Feb-21 16:48:54

je parle un peu français.
I rate my ability less than 1 out of 10.

Are you a nosy neighbour?

silverlining48 Thu 18-Feb-21 15:47:07

No I have a duvet

Do you speak another language and if so how do you rate your fluency?

grandMattie Thu 18-Feb-21 15:33:59

Not much. Only for Spanish classes online.

Do you use sheets and blankets?

Elrel Thu 18-Feb-21 15:00:00

Annoyingly it’s cream with a white pvc frame, the double glazing company asked me whether it was all right. I must have been having a weak moment. The only person to comment was eagle-eyed perfectionist DD!

How much do you use Zoom?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Thu 18-Feb-21 14:31:36

I feel more that way on Mumsnet as the forum users are younger and therefore have less experience of life - which I think gives them a less than kind perspective.

What colour is your front door?

tinaf1 Thu 18-Feb-21 13:15:09

Not actual depression but feel low and anxious sometimes especially at the moment!
Do you sometimes start a post on GN and halfway through think no can’t be a***d probably get flamed anyway.

hollysteers Thu 18-Feb-21 12:52:28

Yes, in a music review.

Do you get periods of depression?

Nell8 Thu 18-Feb-21 09:10:02

Yes - turned up full blast while I'm ironing

Have you ever been mentioned in a national newspaper?

nanna8 Thu 18-Feb-21 06:56:17

Yes in our own pool at night where no one can see- guess that might be cheating.

Do you like classical music ?
