The Netherlands. I speak enough Dutch to get by and it’s flat enough to ride my bike!

What is the best time to get up in the morning?

Two. Say that reluctantly because my French is currently decidedly rusty through lack of use. Strangely, once I'm there it usually comes back to me and I can be enjoyably fluent just before I have to return home. Somewhat frustrating but......nice.

Which country would you choose to live in other than where you are now?

Yes, in the Broads, when the DCs were young. Never again with my lot at that age. Would love to with only DH.

How many languages do you speak?

I've stayed in our next door neighbours' static caravan and it's absolutely lovely. I'd love one.
I've never stayed in a small caravan, but I think I'd enjoy it if it was just for a few days.

Keeping with the holiday theme - have you ever has a barge holiday? Thoughts?

Childhood holidays in Gloucestershire with my godmother/Aunt.

Have you ever stayed in a caravan, if so did you like it?

A Jeep Wrangler for DH. We used to have one but replaced it as it was so expensiveto run. But he absolutely loved it.

Have you had more than one job ?

A horse! (for my granddaughter!)

What is your happiest memory?

Anywhere would be nice at the moment, but I'm currently thinking about a place in Cornwall we liked and want to return to.

What would you buy first if you won the lottery?

I loved French and hated PE because the teacher was nasty.

Where would you like to go next on holiday?

Very late. Anywhere between 12:00 - 2:00am

Which subjects did you love and hate at school?

Don’t have a favourite genre ( anything bar romcoms)

Do you go to bed very late?

Sadly, with lockdown, I can’t remember and I’m a great giggler. The closest is watching Gogglebox with my son.

What is your favourite film genre?

Late 30s, I think.

When was the last time you got the giggles?

Yes I do read it for amusement sometimes although I don’t believe in it, so, no, it doesn’t influence my actions.

If you could go back to a certain age in your life, when would it be?

Cancer, it’s loyal and caring - which of course suits me ?
but it’s also over-sensitive and moody which I’m not so keen on. It’s a water sign and I am not comfortable in or over water.

Do you read your horoscope ever - does it influence what you do?

I struggled with this, so I'm going to cheat a bit and say my favourite screen performance - Donald O'Connor in Singin' in the Rain.

No, but felt a chill around me, a presence, after a bereavement.

Snowy for looking at, sunny for living.

Private Eye. I subscribe and it comes every other Wednesday.

Only gin and tonic.

45 years.

No, I’m quite adventurous with food, but really couldn’t face eating snails.
