Green pan frying pans - are they any good?

I bought a ceramic omelette pan a few years ago, having been assured it was induction compatible. Well, yes, it is, but only on one ring which is at the back of the hob, so you need long arms to cook anything on it. It simply won’t work in any of the others. They also said you could use metal utensils in it. You can’t. It is, however, non stick!

I’ve got a red one, it’s a bit heavy but not as heavy as my black one ?

I have a Green Chef frying pan and a ceramic one. Both are great, but you need to be careful about not using too high a heat.

No idea about Green pan, but I bought a ceramic frying pan years ago that was supposed to be non-stick, and it wasn’t! Waste of money.

I bought a cast iron pan. Its good because any iron that is transferred to your food is not as harmful as, say, teflon.
However, the thing is very heavy; not for the weak-wristed. I think stainless steel is okay.

They are ceramic rather than non stick, I think.

Maybe someone will tell us!! grin

What’s a green frying pan? I desperately need a new, non-stick frying pan so I’m interested in what else is out there.
