Good Morning Tuesday

Good morning from a very wet but mild Derbyshire.

I've been out for my early walk and called at the shop. It's very quiet out that early, but one other person came in the shop while I was in there, so we did a little covid dance to keep a distance from each other.

I don't feel very energetic today but will try and do a bit more room sorting later this morning. My DD has upset me over something and I keep mulling over that. I'm not sure how it will turn out.

Sorry to hear about so many cancelled appointments in this mornings posts.

When I started reading your post Norsat i though what!!!??? but then I realised it was just a lovely dream but made me think if it wasn’t for this awful situation we’d all be posting real things like that -if only....
Nothing planned for me today just the usual walk this morning, carrot and ginger soup for lunch then a lazy afternoon.
It’s worrying that hospital appointments are being postponed though, there’s such a lot of catching up to do

Good morning all from a very soggy North Leicestershire. It has rained all night and appears to have set in for a few days. I won't mention the hall!!

Hanging new curtains in what used to be a spare room this morning. Currently it isn't spare as DH has slept so badly since the first lockdown that he uses it!

And that is as exciting as it gets here!!

Just getting light here in S E Essex, looks cold and blustery.

Granny duties, along with dreaded home schooling the 5 yr old. He is really missing his friends, when they have live lessons all the little faces on screen are a joy to see.

The washing basket is over flowing and also needs some attention.

Another one here who is really fed up this lockdown, I think it’s here till the end of March (at the earliest)

Morning All

After a couple of nice dry days here in the north of Norfolk, its raining again.

Another day in. I'm going to have another go at the Family Tree and - we have a Tesco delivery this afternoon!

And - our local surgery has opened as a vaccination centre last Friday! The vaccine has arrived in our bit of Norfolk!

I know what you mean about planning meals Gaga. Just the occasional meal out would make such a difference. This week we have added to the misery by going back to our diet. Oh joy! And no weekday drinking either - is life worth living? ?
An early start as a plumber is coming today at 8.15, to have a go at unblocking the pipe work under the kitchen sink. I may have been careless with the fat from a shoulder of lamb ?
An awful night’s sleep so possibly a nap this afternoon.
I hope the weather doesn’t cause you problems and that the day is kind to everyone.

Good morning from Essex by the sea where it is still dark but it is not raining.
We are going to start sorting out our utility room today. It has become a dumping room for any and everything and desperately needs tidying up. We have been putting it off but I have decided that today is the day, watch this space !!!
Nothing else to report, same old , same old.
I hope those with family worries and cancelled appointments find some ??.

Good morning Mick and all, not looked out to check the weather here yet. You have reminded me that it has been nearly 2 years since I was seen at the eye clinic. I did get a letter during last lockdown saying to keep using the eye drops, and at my optician appointment my pressures were fine so I shan’t worry just yet.
DD has asked me to go with her to get her vaccination. She was booked in for this morning at our local hospital where she works, they rang yesterday to say there is a delay in delivery and offered her an appointment at another hospital some miles away so I am helping with navigation. Will be nice to spend some time with her without boys around wanting attention.
Should be back in time for a very early lunch before work.
For all those with troubles and illness ? and hope today is a better one for you

Good morning Mick and the GM team from east London, where it is still dark.

Well today, we are taking the Eurostar to Paris, where a limousine will collect us and take us to a little bistro on the Left Bank. We’ll have lunch and then we have VIP tickets for a private showing in the Musee D’Orsay. After a little light shopping (perhaps new shoes or some jewellery) we will have a delicious dinner on one of those river boats that drift up and down the Seine. Then back on Eurostar (business class of course) with a glass of champagne and home.

I wish ...

A ‘ditto’ day here ( bit of housework, bit of cooking, bit of a walk) and I will look for a Scentia smile and wear that, too.

Hoping Auntieflo has an easy day, that Mary had a decent night and Cherry, best wishes to Travelsafar.
Good wishes to all who are facing challenges today and hurrah for those receiving their vacs.

Morning all from a wet, windy and mild south coast. 12.1c at 6am - positively balmy!

DD reported no change to DSiL's condition yesterday - still to hear from her this morning. I am concerned that she will start with symptoms any time soon. She is our standby help in case of medical emergencies with DH so it all adds to the anxiety. Trying to keep busy to stop the mental focus on what might happen.

DH's appointment with the neuro-physiotherapist in February has been postponed to April. I can understand why, given the pandemic, but he should have had their help last August when he came home from hospital with a walker and on two sticks. I don't think he really needs them now after doing the rehab he always did following rugby injuries.

It's smoked salmon tagliatelle for lunch today. Anyone else get fed up planning meals?

Today I’m having lunch at my “bubble mate”’s home so my car will be driven for the first time since I last visited, which was nearly three weeks ago!

It is good news about the vaccination progress generally. According to the calculator, my expected date to receive it has moved a couple of weeks closer! ?

I hope everyone with worries finds some relief today, especially those with ailing friends and family members.

H has got his vaccine appointment for tomorrow..mine will probably be in March.
Mick ..this lockdown sort of has a different feel to it..think maybe we are all more fed up/frustrated now!
Have had my appointment with the orthopedic surgeon postponed again..re the piece of strimmer blade that's been embedded in my leg since August ☹
Going to make sure that I find one of Scentia's smiles today....hope that we all do..

Good Morning everyone from Severnside. It is dark and wet.

It’s not good to hear that some of your families are testing positive but good to hear some of you have had your vaccines. I saw on our local news last night there were more downward green arrows than red upward ones.

No big thing I know but I was pleased to find the readers I keep in my handbag, in the car. They’ve been missing since before Christmas.

A purposeful day today as my brother has given me something to do. Some days at this time of year I get sad concerning past circumstances so I’m going to get up earlier and make a start, put on some music, wear one of Scentias smiles and hope for a better day.
