I have always wished that I could invent a glass magnet to pick up all the tiny shards of broken glass from the floor when I have dropped one. Doesn’t happen very often!

Plasters that actually stick - I have to plaster small cuts on my hands caused by eczema and they fall off the first time I wash my hands. Grrr!

What do you wish someone would invent?..........

I've had success with the plasters that are made for kitchen workers - you used to be able to buy them in Boots. The only problem is that they're blue (so you can see them easily in food if they do come off)

Toothpaste that really does whiten teeth, face cream that really gets rid of wrinkles, masks that don’t steam my specs.

Charleygirl, Another duvet hack that I find good. Roll the duvet from the bottom. Put the "sausage" into the cover and peg along the top, then unroll inside the cover. It cuts my changing time in half and keeps the sides in place too.

i think it is impossible not to use plastics as frozen vegetables come in those bags.

I have given up the fight with king size bedding. Just me now, so I've reverted to a flat sheet, meaning less heavy mattress lifting, and a single duvet. It looks fine across the end of the bed during the day. Easier washing and ironing too.

Something to spray on the lawn to stop it growing so fast.

A silencer for gadgets like hoovers, carpet shampooers, food mixers, blenders, electric drill, saws, strimmers, lawnmowers etc. How peaceful it would be.

A gadget to change my bedding weekly. I struggle with a king size duvet cover and it takes me ages doing a simple task of bed changing.

Charleygirl, I use a top sheet, so don’t have to change the quilt cover as often. Also, start off with the fresh quilt inside out, put your hands right inside and grab the corners, then grab the quilt corners and gradually shake it in place.

also after drying, body lotion could be applied,
Is there an inventor out there that could take on this challenge, really it’s just the same principle as a car wash.

Charleygirl I use a top sheet under the duvet so that I don’t have to change the duvet cover quite so often.

I use Hypofix which is a clear fixative as described by GagaJo. I am allergic to many of the adhesive dressings. Only trouble is that, living alone, if the cut is on a hand, it is difficult to use.

Maybe they would invent a robot that could do it for me?

Rowyn, try some old fashioned nutcrackers, they are brilliant for grasping all sorts of lids.

Having overindulged during lockdown, a calorie free, good quality chocolate bar!

I have 4 of those but I call them brakes I just give a little 'tweek' they soon back off ?

Lucy127 I also have arthritic hands and Boots chemist gave me a green plastic ‘pill pusher’ free of charge.It’s OK for the larger pills but not much use for the small pills. Some chemists will put your pills in to bottles for you if you explain the problem. Boots used to but my branch here have stopped doing it as they seem to have massively cut down on staff. No harm in asking.

I would like some sort of pill which calculated how many calories I actually needed and then somehow vapourised the excess I had consumed.

Lucy127 I sort out my pills into one of those every two weeks. My thumbnails were breaking so now I use the handle of a teaspoon to push the pills out of the foil bubbles. The stubborn ones get the pointy tip of the spoon first to cut the foil.

Merlotgran.....use deorators masking tape instead of freezer labels. Does the job....and is cheaper.
What about a clothes line that automatically raises a cover if (or should I say when) it starts to rain.
