Kunzle cakes were made in Birmingham, my home town, and we knew several people who worked there. They were a bit expensive for us so the occasional one was a real luxury. I actually didn't like them very much as the filling seemed very rich.

Desdemona Sat 23-Jan-21 23:13:52

I should say an addict mother. Also, because I am an adult doesn't mean I am not influenced. Just that now she is old her power is diluted and I don't live with her.

Desdemona Sat 23-Jan-21 23:11:22

I miss not having to think about what to cook at mealtimes.

I don't miss the pain of having a critical, abusive, narcissistic addictive mother in control of everything I did or thought.

You could buy them individually wrapped and the only one I liked was the raspberry coconut one. I'm now craving one!

welbeck Sat 23-Jan-21 04:32:41
