It does say broke forum rules I just wonder what rules lemsip
Normally if the poster asked for it to be deleted it says ‘at posters request’
It’s still there on ‘I m on’ riverwalk well it is for me anyway
Curiouser and cruiouser

There have been some really really odd threads started lately.

Callistemon Sun 24-Jan-21 16:27:12

And there it was - gone!

Lisagran Sun 24-Jan-21 16:26:13

I didn’t see any unpleasant comments?

Riverwalk Sun 24-Jan-21 16:26:11

Yes Lemsip, but usually anyone who has contributed to the thread has it on record.

I contributed to that thread, but now there is no record of it

Lisagran Sun 24-Jan-21 16:25:34

It says it ‘broke forum guidelines’

Callistemon Sun 24-Jan-21 16:24:43

I did post on it but it was a spoof or, as Riverwalk says a crock of shit
?

lemsip Sun 24-Jan-21 16:23:42

you are able to request deletion of your own thread you know. just as you can have your own comment deleted.

I think that's what the op done!

Riverwalk Sun 24-Jan-21 16:23:39

Curiously, if you go on 'I'm On' it usually lists the threads you're on, including the deleted ones, with a brief explanation why it's been deleted.

But on my 'I'm On', there is no mention of Malory Towers hmm

FannyCornforth Sun 24-Jan-21 16:19:59

Missed it! Drat

Riverwalk Sun 24-Jan-21 16:18:01

A thread wouldn't be deleted for 'an unpleasant comment'.

It was a crock of shit and I made my feeling known - didn't report it but obviously someone did.

Ellianne Sun 24-Jan-21 15:59:02

Hmm it did seem strange, but not untoward. I made a comment to see where it might lead.
Was there an unpleasant comment?

BlueBelle Sun 24-Jan-21 15:53:59

I see the thread from the 18 year old wanting to know about Enid Blyton s boarding schools has been deleted Anyone know why ?
I presumed it was a spoof at the start then felt a bit bad about judging now it’s gone so anyone know why?
