Record the programmes then run through the ads later when watching.

I look upon tv ads as the perfect opportunity to go to the loo/[put the kettle on/wash dishes/let the cat out/run to the post-box/or whatever.

This is the very reason why I do not watch live TV.
We record all programmes and watch them at a time convenient to us which allows us to to fast forward the adverts.

I have seen that one Calendargirl. It’s revolting!
Neither do I want to see close ups of peoples bums.

We normally record anything worth watching as it means we can fast forward when adverts are shown.

Worse are the holiday ones hopefully they will be banned now it’s official no holidays allowed ???

Also I don't think I can save dogs, cats, snow leopards, elephants, pangolins, lions, tigers, rhinos, ...................

And don't forget the close up of women's bottoms to prove you can't see their bladder leak pads. Particularly the one lifting weights. Yuk.

Most of them go totally over my head except the whiny voice of the Daniels woman as discussed in another thread
I seem to have a little skill of completely blanking most of them out

Charleygirl5 Sat 30-Jan-21 08:28:51

I miss most of them either making coffee or going to the loo.

Esspee Sat 30-Jan-21 08:28:09

We rarely watch programmes with adverts (avoid them like the plague) but on the odd occasion we do the OH simply mutes the adverts.

TrendyNannie6 Sat 30-Jan-21 08:24:37

I haven’t seen that one, The one that annoys me the most at the mo is Perf with Surf

EllanVannin Sat 30-Jan-21 08:14:44

I bet these horrible adverts are on at mealtimes, are they ?
I tend to go for the BBC programmes with no adverts.

Calendargirl Sat 30-Jan-21 08:01:42

Yet another annoying ad.

I have to close my eyes and ears when the Lifebuoy advert comes on. A bouncy little jingle with cartoon pictures, and one bit features nose picking I think, but I have stopped looking at it now.
