Sir Tom is in hospital with covid. I hope he will recover, he’s been an inspiration to so many.

I have also just read that before he went Sir Capt Tom put out a Twitter saying visiting the Caribbean was on his bucket list to do. What an indomitable and inspiring man! Get Well Sir Tom. We need you.

BlueBelle British Airways paid for his flight in December. Somehow he later got pneumonia for which he was being treated but unfortunately that medication meant he couldn’t have the Covid vaccination. He subsequently contracted the virus probably in hospital here. Very sad. I hope he enjoyed his holiday and now makes a full recovery.

I was so sad when I read this, as do we all and I do hope he recovers. Apparently couldn’t have his jab as he was suffering from pneumonia. ?

I was shocked to hear this on the news, pneumonia and COVID are not good at that age. But I am remembering those on the news recently having recovered from COVID when older than him. He won’t be out of my thoughts though. Such a wonderful inspiration to all.
