How the animal kingdom has adapted through lockdown!

After a 6 month lockdown when we were finally free in Melbourne we went down to our beach house. All these tiny hooded plovers had taken up residence on our local beach and were drifting around in groups at the edge of the sea. They are quite rare and had obviously bred up in the absence of humans and dogs. What a privilege to see them. Now the dogs and their owners are back so most of them will get chased away.

I think wild life has probably flourished while humans have been behind doors.
