Some news about our H o S
RF family want their 1969 documentary to be taken off air. The Queen was talking in it about a governor that looked like a gorilla, in one little clip, of docu seen on twitter.

Queen doesn't want her various shares and their values in companies made public too embarrassing. And lobbied in the 70s to be made exempt from new law. She has millions in off shore accounts.

P Charles land owner lobbied to be exempt from new leaseholder legislation that would have allowed homeowners to buy the land their property sits on.

And when people from the Duchy die with no living relatives P Charles gets the money, with other landowners around the country money goes to the treasury

Then there is Andrew

The 20,000 Sandringham Estate gets millions in subsidies

Queen gets her Wendy house refurbished to her own specifications including a new thatched roof.

Meanwhile in other news a little boy stole a tin of soup because he was so hungry, never mind.

Remember what happened to Diana. I wouldn’t cross the RF if I were Meghan. She is a bit clueless.

even poor Harry had rose-tinted glasses in his hopes for his little family.

nanna8 no idea what is allowed on other forums, perhaps lies and false allegations like yours are allowed .

Plus no seat belts being worn

The Press & The drunk driver were the culprits.

Good news indeed about Philip.

I remember reading shortly after H and M’s wedding that a number of her staff had very quickly resigned claiming unreasonable expectations on her behalf plus as has been mentioned recently, bullying.

Honestly, how does Harry feel in all this? We all know he’s besotted with his wife but isn’t there just a tiny part of him which wonders if these accusations about her could be true?

We will have to see what is said in the interview but has Harry really alienated himself so much from his family that he’s prepared to stand by and let Meghan say her piece?

Does he not see what she is capable of?
She cut herself off from her entire family apart from her mother, and now it appears she has done the same with H and his.

I remember the swift departure of three members of staff who worked for MM, and the usual tight lipped response from the Palace.
Now that she is no longer part of the Royal Family. I presume the confidentiality agreements no longer apply.

A pity Price Philip is hors de combat, because I doubt he would mince his words and I do think he is the only member of the Royal Family H might take notice of.

I wish the D of E well after his procedure.

And on the other side of the pond the genie is really out of the bottle with Meghan's latest claim that the royal family is a "lost" cause as far as she is concerned.
History in the making.

I missed that little gem!

She just doesn't get it, does she!
Does she mean the family or does she mean the whole role of a constitutional Monarchy, the institution of State, the Commonwealth?

What did all those symbols embroidered on her veil mean to her? Just pretty embroidery to make her look good?

I was so pleased when Harry and Meghan got married, happy for this rather lost young man and thought they could be such an asset to the Royal Family but I am disappointed they chose a different path.
That is fair enough and I can understand some of their reasoning but why do this? Why go on the attack. Harry blames the media but Meghan is attacking the family.

Why blame the media for their problems but then go on to court such publicity?

I don't think they know what they want except to be in the limelight.

What do you mean ,nanna8?

Think back to their engagement and wedding, she spent Christmas with the royal family, Harry said they were the family she never had.

Then came the announcement that there wouldn’t be an announcement , nothing to do with the royal family .

Next there was the S.A. .interview - no one asked if I was ok,
nothing to do with the palace.

If the royal family are responsible for all the press print why would they mock Beatrice and Eugenie ? Why would they mock Kate’s family ?

NellG Thu 04-Mar-21 10:03:39

It's lip curlingly unpleasant and seems to be bringing out the worst in people Ellianne. Hardly winning hearts and minds.

maddyone Thu 04-Mar-21 10:03:34

Such a lot of unflattering reports of Meghan’s behaviour. They can’t all be barefaced lies surely?

Anniebach Thu 04-Mar-21 10:02:28

Will she sue the staff who accused her of bullying in 2018 ?

Jaffacake2 Thu 04-Mar-21 10:01:17

The scene is set for a complete showdown on Monday when the interview is aired. Seems to be plenty of manipulative stories in the media linking Meghan to bullying, wearing diamond earrings which were given by a Prince with ? connections to a murder. An aging Prince Philip who has been in hospital for weeks.
This is like a tv drama. How much of the media behaviour is happening to secure the future of the monarchy ?

Mollygo Thu 04-Mar-21 10:00:19

Haven’t seen it -and wouldn’t want to watch it anyway, but undoubtedly we’ll be inundated by press releases.
I expect the RF is devastated, but they’ll be too polite to use the same terminology about her.

Anniebach Thu 04-Mar-21 09:56:20

Her family, his family , !

Amazing! I thought when they moved him to Barts it must have been with the intention of doing some procedure. Otherwise he could have been treated and nursed where he was.

Anniebach Thu 04-Mar-21 09:48:25

It is good news, i do hope he makes a good recovery

Mollygo Thu 04-Mar-21 09:45:04

I’m so pleased to hear that Prince Philip has had a successful procedure. What a relief for his family. Whatever your opinion of the RF, I’m sure no one on here would be happier if the procedure hadn’t gone well.

Anniebach

Mollygo I agree, a racist comment was made by a poster and
it seems it was acceptable because Phillip allegedly made racist
comments.

Most people have stated that it wasn’t okay, actually.

Anniebach Wed 03-Mar-21 18:25:22

You are defending racist comments Grany
