Good morning all from S Hants, we’ve had a smattering of snow and it’s iced over, DH has work today, outside, I’ve expressed my concern and hope he cancels. He’s late 50’s and has an admirable work ethic, but the work involves a roof and I’m not happy.
No real plans, as usual, I’ll decide about a walk or not later. Fingers crossed for your appointment today Marydoll. Enjoy the tennis ladies!

Good morning all from a very snowy Polmont. A few inches thick this morning so I'm not driving. Unless my son in law brings dgs to me, it'll be a non babysitting day as well. They live up a hill so I'm not attempting it. We haven't had as much snow for a couple of years. I'm sure my grandson will love it ; me, not so much anymore. Yesterday ended with a phonecall from my oldest and best friend and that was just lovely. So today will be a solitary one. I'll clear the paths of snow and make chicken curry. I don't expect to see the fish man in this weather. Take care all.

Morning all from a very chilly (-1.1c) south coast. The road is clear but there is an icing of light snow over the gardens and paths.

We have a Tesco click and collect between 9 and 10am so should be alright getting there and back. I was a bit anxious yesterday when the forecast showed heavy snow at that time. That has changed now as forecasts often do.

It's 3 weeks today since we got our jabs so I am hoping that we now have some immunity built up against the virus. We had the pfizer vaccine, not that there was any choice available. Glad to hear yours is coming this week Mick.

Keep warm and keep safe everyone. Better days are coming along with spring. sunshine

Good morning, everyone from a blustery Torbay, giving a wind chill factor of minus six!! Brrh! ??

Hope you continue to feel better, NanKate and that you enjoy the tennis with Beechnut! Melbourne is one of my favourite cities, not least because DD1 lives fairly near to it.

Yesterday afternoon, I had a long Zoom session with my DGD (8) who needed a little support with her R.E. lesson. It was very rewarding to see her enthusiasm and motivation to discover various books in the Bible then find particular quotations. Work completed, we had a great catch up in which we reminisced about past holidays she’d enjoyed and it was good to chat to her and DGS2 (10) for quite a while.

I’m hoping the possibility of snow doesn’t materialise as I’m having lunch with my support bubble friend. Such weather is rare but not unknown here. It sounds grim in Kent, grandMattie so you are wise to stay indoors.

I hope everyone is keeping as well and warm as possible.

Pimms! ?

Good morning everyone from a bright dry E Kent. It has barely snowed in the last 24 hours, but is very icy.
Oh, Mick, doesn’t everyone wish for normality again? It would be so nice to walk somewhere without people moving miles out of your way as if you had a bad smell?
Sorry about your bug, Nankate, alcoholic Pima might well kill those nasties!
We normally go to the supermarket today but DH doesn’t want to risk it. Ok for most things though not for perishables. We’ll manage...
Good luck with appointment today. Marydoll. Everyone, take care, be kind to yourselves, stay safe. ?

Good Morning everyone from a cold dry and frosty Severnside.

Not too sure how I feel mood wise this morning so I’m going to make the effort to be out of bed and having breakfast by 8am.

Careful with your picnic after your bug NanKate. Enjoy the tennis both of you. There will be sun ?

Take care all stay warm and safe ?

Good Morning Everyone ,
Its dark, but its dry ,and cold and looks icy outside here in Brackley this morning.
Today , starting to settle down into my routine again .
Arranged to have the corona virus jab for this coming Saturday yesterday .
I only hope the cold air turns milder soon ,and we have a gradually easing of the lockdown so people can meet up again and be able to travel to favourite places .
Take Care,
Mick
