It’s my favourite Beatles Album, I have the vinyl in the loft.

Yes, I still have the vinyl, but no means of playing it.
Her majesty’s a pretty nice girl but she doesn’t have a lot to say.
Or have I just imagined that little bit, at the end.

Have to admit that I don't remember most of the tracks - except for Something. That guitar solo from George is classic, I still often replay it now.
In the distant past I bought a book of sheet music for piano and guitar with all the Beatles songs. When I could no longer play the piano I gave the book to younger son who was a Beatles fan and had just bought a guitar. He wore specs like Jofn Lennon.

I love it but then I love all (well most) if their albums. I was and still am a fanatical Beatles fan.
I saw them five times live and have a photo of myself sitting behind them on stage. George (my absolute favourite) chatted to me and a few fans once. As my daughter says 'Don't start mom off on the Beatles'.

I still have most of them on vinyl.

MyOH is also Beatles fanatic. Not only does he have all the original albums, he has some that are in mono AND stereo plus all the CDs and recordings of them on radio! He never got to see them live, though, and would be very jealous of you Kate1949! Our daughters grew up knowing all the words of most of their songs, and when GS aged 4 was in nursery last year, his (very young) teachers asked my daughter what was the song he had been singing all day called "Hey Bulldog"! Yellow Submarine is his favourite film of all time (GS that is, not OH ).

I’ve got some of their albums and DH bought a retro style turntable so we could play them. I still do occasionally it certainly evokes many memories.
When I was still working I used to drive over that zebra crossing and past the studio several times a day people were always in the middle of the road simulating that album cover they were always appreciative if we patiently waited while they took pics.

Glad I video recorded it way back in 1982.

Love all of side 2 of Abbey Road where all 8 tracks transition seamlessly into one another. Sublime.

Just out of curiosity. Are the vinyl copies fetching good money these days? Anyone know?

Trisha Our daughter was rather indoctrinated with them I think! My nephews, who are in their 30s love The Beatles and are very impressed with my many escapades regarding them. At least I think they are!

No I don't think they are Urms. I have the original Sergeant Pepper with all the cardboard cutouts etc. So have many other people it seems.

I love it Urmstongran . My original copy is framed along with a few other classics albums and hangs on my kitchen wall.

I had the honour a few years ago to be involved in the recording of a charity song ? at Abbey Road studios in the famous studio 2 . A truly awesome day .

We're trying to do this jigsaw at the moment. It's not going too well.

I do like the Beatles and Abbey Road but think I like the Rubber Soul CD the best . However if I’m absolutely honest the Stones do it more for me . Seen them 3 times live.Mick Jagger on stage is amazing
